New Love

Chapter Eight: First Dates

I quickly pick out an outfit before heading into the bathroom. I turn on some music before undressing. Once fully undressed I turn on the shower and hop in. I quickly wash my body before washing my hair.

Once done I hop out and dry myself off, before wrapping my hair in my towel. I quickly put my clothes on before plugging in my blow dryer. I dry my hair completely while brushing it before putting it in a ponytail. I check the time to see that its already 4:59. I have about an hour to do my makeup and anything else I need to do.

I go get my mascara, eye shadow, foundation, and lipstick. I decide to go easy on the foundation and go for more natural looking makeup. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to finish. I take one last look in the mirror before heading back into my room. I put on some bracelets and a necklace before going downstairs.

"Wow, Roxy you look amazing" Mary says when she sees me.

"Thanks" I say, blushing slightly.

"What time are you meeting him again?" She asks.

"Here in about a half hour" I say, looking at my phone.

"You excited?" She asks.

"Yeah, a bit. This is my first date since me and my ex broke up" I say.

Suddenly the door opens and Emma comes in.

"Wow, you look great" she says when she sees me.

"Thanks" I say, blushing again.

"Killian's gonna love it" she says, making me blushing even more.

"I'm probably going to leave soon. Its better to be early than late" I say, getting up and grabbing my purse and heels.

I sit down and put my heels on. Then I get up and grab my jacket iff the rack.

"I think I'm gonna get going" I say, checking my phone to see that it's already 5:45. Geez, times flying by today.

"Okay, bye. Have fun" Mary says,

"But not too much fun" Emma says, winking at me.

I blush again before walking out the door. I start walking towards Granny's and I get there in a matter of minutes. When I walk in I see that Killian's already there and I walk over. I sit in the seat of the booth across from him.

"Wow, you look, wow" he says, taking in my appearance.

"You look pretty wow yourself. You sure clean up nicely" I say, looking at his outfit. He's wearing his usual leather jacket, a black tee, his necklace, black jeans, and his usual shoes.

He looks at me in a way that makes me want to just full on kiss him right here and now. God, could he be anymore seductive? I think to myself, biting my lip. I shake myself out of it as Ruby gives us menus.

"What are you thinking of having?" He asks me.

"I'm thinking of having a double bacon cheeseburger with fries. What are you gonna have?" I ask him.

"Hmm, probably the prime rib. With mashed potatoes" he says.

"What would you guys like to order?" Ruby asks, looking between us with a pen and order pad in her hands.

"I'll take a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a Mellow Yellow please" I say, closing my menu.

"What size Mellow Yellow?" She asks me.

"A medium please" I say.

"Okay, and what would you like" she asks, looking at Killian after writing my order down.

"I'd like a prime rib with mashed potatoes and a large glass of coke" he says.

"Okay, your order should be out soon" she says before walking back to the kitchen.

"Surprised you didn't go for rum" I say jokingly.

"I'd rather be sober while out on a date" he says, smirking.

"So, do you plan on staying here in Storybrooke long or?" He asks me.

"I think I might stick around for awhile" I say smiling.

"I was hoping you would" he says, smiling.

I blush slightly. Before I can say anything Ruby brings us our food and drinks.

"There you go. Enjoy" she says, smiling before walking away.

We dig in and continue talking for a bit.

"So what did you do for a living before you ran away?" He asks me, before taking another bite of his food.

"Oh I worked at the animal shelter in my hometown" I say before eating a fry.

"Did you make much doing that?" He asks.

"I got paid a decent amount" I say.

We continue talking throughout the date. I learn more things about him than I thought I would. And he learned a lot about me as well. But not everything of course. Especially not the things I hope he never learns about me. That I've been a victim of rape. That back in the Enchanted Forest I killed an innocent person out of rage. And the worst of all. I'm the person that told Rumplestilskin about Killian and Milah. I have partial blame for Milah's death. But its not totally my fault. Rumple had threatened to kill what I loved most if I didn't tell him. So I told him everything, since I wasn't going to let him kill the person I loved most. I wasn't going to let him kill Killian.

Oh and after she got raped she had became a pirate to seek revenge on her raper and that's how she knew about Killian and Milah. And as for the person she killed out of rage, they'll be appearing in one of these next chapters in a flashback. The guy who had raped her is her ex. He raped her when they were back in the enchanted forest.
