I woke up in a cold sweat, 'Damn, another nightmare' I thought to myself. It's sort of early in the morning, maybe I should.- *KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*
I jumped at the sudden banging. Who would even knock at this hour? I walked down the stairs, hesitating at first, but I got over it. The creaking of the floor boards was irritating, As I reached the door, I heard an oh-so familiar voice. "H- Hey Sunny! It's me, your old friend Kel! I was wondering if we could hang out since you're moving away soon, for old times' sake!" Kel said, stuttering. I felt sweat run down my cheek,
'Sunny, why the hell are you so nervous?' As I was stuck in my own thoughts, I heard movement outside my door. "Sunny, why won't you come out for us, for me?" Kel sighed.
As if it were instinct, I immediately opened the door. In an instant, I was welcomed with a warm enbrace. "Sunny, you finally came out!" Kel said excitedly. I felt my ears go pink, I quickly pulled away from the hug. Leaving kel with a saddend look on his face. I calm myself down, 'Sunny what the fuck, do you have a fever or something?!' I silently scream at myself.
Kel spoke up, ending the awkwardness. "Well, I didn't think you would come out, so I didn't really have a game plan. Oh, we could go to HOBBEEZ!" Kel said enthusiastically. Seeing how excited he was made me smile for a moment. He then grabbed my hand, and off we went to HOBBEEZ.
' it's just a fever.'
