Part One- Extra

"So my amulet was made by Merlin to protect trolls against the gumm-gumms which are bad trolls. And usually the amulet goes to the trolls but for some reason it chose me" he said

"Okay so you're saying Merlin, a wizard from centuries ago made this?" i said picking up his amulet

"Yes, you said it looked familiar when you first saw it"

"Yea, i feel like i've seen it before, i just don't know where" i said observing the amulet, looking it over from all angles

"We thought you were a changeling after you said that" he laughed

"A changeling?" i asked looking up

"A changeling is a troll and a human, they switch from either forms. They are switched with a human as a baby and the baby goes into the darklands but they are safe there" he explained

"How do you know they're safe?" i asked

"Notenrique explained that no harm can come to them or it affects the changeling" he said

"Okay, okay. How did you know i wasnt a changeling then?"

"You touched the gaggletack" i looked at him confused "the uh horseshoe" he said

"Well im glad im not a changeling, although i'm not sure it's something you can be unaware of" i laughed

"Im glad your not a changeling either, that would really suck" he laughed too

"so you protect trolls" i asked

"yep"

"well thats a new one" i laughed

"yeah, well its a good conversation starter i guess" he laughed back

"well as much as it is fun to learn about the very real mystical things happening beneath our feet, i think i need a break from it"

"thats fair, it is a lot to digest"

"do you want to watch a movie? or something instead?" i asked

"yes, i do" he smiled, we went out of my room and went

i turned on the tv and sat down, he sat down next to me. I handed him the remote and told him to pick something while I grabbed blankets. i ran upstairs to my room to grab them and claire popped in

"only grab one" she said while i was holding the two

"what?"

"only grab one, you'll have to be closer" she said smiling and turning out of the room, i gave her comment a thought and dropped one and went back down stairs

i walked over to him with my blanket as i walked past him i covered part of him with the blanket and sat close next to him covering myself with the rest of the blanket

"What are we watching?" i asked and leaned onto his shoulder, i felt him tense for a second and then relax

"uh i haven't found anything" he said still looking through netflix

"What about the dragon prince?" i said moving my head up to look at him. he moved his arm so that it wraps around my shoulder

"I can get behind that," he smiles. I moved a little closer to him and brought my legs up closer to me and him and moved my hand over his body to hug him.

"Do you know what it's about?" i asked looking up at him

"Essentially, i just haven't gotten around to watching it" i hummed

he searched up the dragon prince and set the remote down, and we watched the show, after the first episode ended i asked him if he wanted anything to eat or snack on for the next episode
