Part XIII

Lami hung up the phone and rubbed her face in exasperation.
"Jevan..."
"Why? What's wrong?" asked Jevan.
"Follow him."
Lami just got the news that Alletta is in a coma. Who else contacted Lami? explained Uncle Hans.
"Alletta coma."
Jevan's feelings were chaotic, his chest was tight, and his heart felt like it was being stabbed to hear the bad news
"Where is he?"
"He's at the hospital where Sis Hans works. Let's go there quickly."
Jevan started his car engine again and immediately stepped on the gas. Even the sweet guy drove his car like crazy.
Occasionally there was the sound of horns from several other cars when Jevan almost grazed theirs.
The man cursed when someone got in his way.
As for Lami, she continued to chant swear words at the man beside her. In fact, he felt like his life was flying.
After 15 minutes of driving. The car that Jevan was driving was perfectly parked. They left in a hurry.
But when they were inside, Lami held Jevan's hand.
"Why?"
"You go first," said Lami. "I'm going to meet Hans for a while.
Jevan nodded his head, then he immediately left Lami.
With a raging heart of money, Jevan kept running along the halls of the hospital until he arrived in front of the ICU room.

"Why did you never tell me about Alletta?" Jevan's eyes felt tired because he kept crying.
The two men sat on either side of Alletta's ward. GAVIN just stared flatly at Jevan, who was on one side of Alletta's ward. Even Gavin didn't know how Jevan knew this.
"Why?" Gavin's flat voice resounded throughout the room. "What should I tell you about him?"
"I..." John sobbed again.
Gavin had expected things to turn out this way. Either sooner or later, Jevan will know by himself. Like now, Jevan really looks messy.
"You don't have to regret it anymore, Je," said Gavin
"Even if Alletta really has to give up her life, you don't have the right to feel sorry. Because in reality, you don't care about her either."
"I care!" interrupted Jevan.
"I care... but... why you guys"
Hh.. Gavin feels very fed up with the man in front of him. If it weren't for Alletta, Gavin's clean hands would have been dirty from killing Jevan's handsome face.
Gavin also didn't want to hide anything from Jevan from the start. It's still a question mark for Gavin, why Alletta wants to hide everything in front of Jevan.

Lami? Why? Gavin meant, why did Lami want to accompany Jevan when he was going to meet Alletta? doesn't Lami not like Alletta?
"You know everything about Alletta?"
Of course Gavin nodded steadily in response to Jevan's question.
And now Jevan feels like a useless friend. He didn't know anything about Alletta. He thought he already knew Alletta much better than Gavin, because in the past Alletta preferred to complain to him. Not to Gavin.
But now?

Ivan is numb. He now feels very guilty to Alletta.
Can he be greedy? he wanted to turn back time to make up for all his mistakes. He would do anything for Alletta. Because from the beginning Alletta was a part of the soul that he had to take care of.
"You know Je?" Gavin spoke again.
"For years he hid his feelings for you, for our friendship. He really didn't want to destroy it all, just because of feelings that should never have existed between us. But, you prefer other people and stay away from him. And also he has to cover up the pain that is very painful for him. He has to depend on drugs that even he himself hates it all." Gavin's obsidian can't be separated from Alletta, who still has her eyes closed.
Again and again, it was as if someone had hit Jevan's feelings. The man felt more and more guilty towards Alletta.
"I've always been envious of you."
Jevan lifted his face, feeling very confused by Gavin's words.
"envy?"
"Yes, I'm jealous of you because Alletta has always prioritized you over me. In any way. Attention, affection and even-" Gavin's throat tightened, remembering a memory that had returned.
"Even when we both fell while playing bicycles together. Alletta was more worried about you. Even though it was me who was more injured there." Gavin lowered his head.
Memories from several years ago came back to haunt him.
