BROKEN INSIDE

1. What A Mute.

It's 20th assistant in two months I have fired since, Lilly my former assistant have resigned due to her personal issues. I tried to convince her to stay and I will help out of her problem but, she neither told me anything nor let me help her.

She was perfect and was working with me since I founded this company I.e., from 8 years no one can handle with my terms hence, here I am having issues with this stupid assistant stuff. Whoever I choose is either to talkative, slutty or too clumsy to be my assistant.

Literally, no one understands what to do when and it irritates me. When I should be busy with other things and meetings I am here stuck with all the interviews for an assistant. And this jackass friend of mine is doing nothing but, just having fun seeing me suffering with all my miseries.

"Blake!! Stop it you are irritating me by starting at me. Just tell me what you have to say or help me with this interviews so that I can go ahead with my other work."

"Ahh! I am not staring, I am thinking about what Lilly's importance was in your life. And hell, No I will not take any interviews for you. I know I am your friend and all but I am fine here watching you have it. So, thanks for the offer."

I was about to reply him back but his phone went off causing our attention to drift towards it. He picked it up and accept the call and without any word left my office.

I took a short break and when I notice Blake won't return soon I drifted into my wonderland. I hope I get good assistant with this thought I was about to call our next candidate for this interview but Blake brags in and says.

"I have got a good assistant for you and I know one thing for sure she won't irritate you as she is nor to slutty or clumsy I hope that and talkative. Actually she is mute."

"What!! Are you serious righ now if she is mute then how will I communicate. Okay, so now your telling me that I should wait till she writes all the info on her notes and I just wait for her when I could do some other productive work. Don't you think you forgot your brains at home."

"Dude, just give her a chance I know she won't disappoint you and if she does you can fire her and as far as your concern about you next assistant I will take charge of the interviews and you could do your productive work."

I sigh. I know Blake is a great judge of character and people and he is never wrong. So, I agreed to him. I don't know why I think that I got the ideal assistant for me.

As, soon as I told Blake that I agree with him this time he ran out and told every one that this interview has finished and they may go home and I continue with my work in hand.

After what seems like hour but it been now luch time when Blake enter my office and asks me to have lunch with him I agree and arranged my files on my table and left to the cafeteria of our office and ordered our order and sat down after awhile Blake questions.

"Well, do you find that girl whom you are finding now for 13 years?"

Yay, I am finding a girl whom I promised that I will return to her no matter what. I am fade up with my past but, to move on from it I have to find that girl and explain the circumstances in which I was.

"She has name okay 'Percy White' and she is 23 years old now. And not I didn't found her but I will one day."

"Come on, give up man it's 13years now. You have this company and left your past behind what else you want hah. Enjoy man and forget about that girl."

"How can I Blake? You know everything then also you have an audiocity to say it aloud. You know what you haven't seen the scene by your own eyes if you have then you would never say that." I yelled at him.

"You know she lost her parents that day due to what just a misunderstanding between them." I said harshly to avoid tears that threatened to leave my eyes.

With that I got up and left the cafeteria I hear Blake apologising but I ignored him and went to do my work and make myself busy that I didn't even know that now it's 8:30 p.m.

All my employees have left the office and now I am only one left here. I decided to stay a while and leave but then again tomorrow the assistant will start her work. So, I have to test her hence, I will go early today and catch her red handed for being late or for something else.

I went home and maids served me my dinner I have it quietly and went to bed into my deep slumber.

"I am sorry about what just happened but trust me I am forced to do this and I regretted doing this. Once I am out of this I will find you and explain everything to you till then just do as your parents told you so. I promise I will come for you and save you from this bastards, Okay."

"Dad, I don't like all this please dad leave all this things and move ahead. We are risking our lives Dad."

"I am sorry dad I had enough but I can't do this. You forced me to do this and after this I won't forgive you or myself for what you did and what I was forced for."

"It's been one year dad I still hate you and let me tell you I have sorted everything out. I donated all the money you have earned illegally. Now, I am gonna start a business without a single penny of yours and prove you wrong."

"Hey dad it's 5 years now from that day and also it's last day for my visit to you. I will no longer come back here cause I have proved you wrong. My company is famous all over the world and with that my relationship with you as son is also buried deep inside with you."

" I have to find that girl and apologise for her miseries. I known I can't return her parents back but I will help her with anything she asks. Just find her and keep finding untill you find her. It doesn't matter how many years it takes but I want that girl to have a talk with."

I jolted awake by my alarm. I rubbed my eyes to make my sleep go away. I took a deep sigh. Now, it's like daily routine of mine to wake up by this horrible dream which is part of my life.

Sometime it comes in as parts and sometimes it feels like l am reliving all this past years of my life. I got out of my bed and took a shower and after I am done I tie my towel around my waist and walk out my bathroom towards my closet only to be interrupted by my phone ringing and displaying Blake's name.

Ooo right we had a fight yesterday which I almost forgot. I am sure he will start rambling and at the end I have to forgive him. Anyway, I also can't stay angry on my best friend for long time.

I picked up the call and moved towards my closet I kept my phone on my closet rack. Then came Blake's voice.

"I am sorry dude please forgive me I will never ask you to give up on her now. Even if you found her and made her your wife I won't object it."

"Okay, I forgive you but it was too much dramatic this time next time speak something better to convince me."

"But, still it worked didn't it."

I rolled my eyes and said.

"Whatever."

"Hey, today that girl, your new assistant will report you. Where are you now, did you changed you plan or what?"

"Chill, I am having my breakfast and I am on my way to office don't worry."

"Okay then see you there."

"Yup, bye."

"Bye"

Okay, miss mute it's time for you to face most difficult challenge of your life. I am coming there for you to make your life living hell.
