It was almost a week later that he rejoined the team. Meanwhile Josh had spent time with his family, bought some things for his son and made various repairs in his mother’s house, where he had spent much of his life, because it looked run down. He had to hammer all day to repair the house and then he removed the weeds from the garden and even pruned the tree that was on the property, he played with Emma on occasion and evicted a coyote. Finally the early holidays ended. He had spent the whole day with his family, but his heart sank when it was time to separate from his son. The boy always cried when he went to work and clung to his leg.
“Papa, papa.”
Josh was concerned. At other times he could see him at night or in the morning if Pete slept early, but this time it was different. He couldn’t see him for more than ten days. The more he thought about it, the more it hurt.
“Josh, it will be late. Come on.”
Josh’s mother came over. Josh accepted reality, which he could no longer postpone. Pete screamed and screamed, as soon as his grandmother picked him up. Josh walked forward with a pain in his chest as he heard his son’s screams, he went straight to the car, settled in and tears came out of his eyes.
His heart aches.

“Yeah, it’s the hardest thing in the world.”
Mark barely nodded, they had met at a restaurant to celebrate their new job with breakfast.
“I’m glad I watched my children grow up, now they are older.”
There were many times when he was away from home for several months because of work, but now he has a son and the separations are difficult.
Issac and Henry were still single men, they only managed to eat their pancakes while keeping their distance from the topic of conversation. The waitress from the restaurant came over and asked what they wanted to order.
“Coffee, thank you.”
Josh already had breakfast at home, so he simply ordered a drink. The waitress smiled at him and when she returned, a short time later she took out a lot of cheap cream from her pocket and put it on the table, gave Josh a bold look and left, occasionally turning to look at him. Henry spoke:
“Put on a ring.”
Josh laugh.
Isaac poured maple syrup over the pancakes, cut a large piece, and popped it into Josh’s mouth.
“Let’s talk about things now,” Seth said.
All eyes went to Mark, he just managed to look around. There were few people in the restaurant because it was no longer time for breakfast.
“About a month ago a report came in and it was a warning about C. C is Chase and K is our abbreviation. If the client was a celebrity we should be cautious when referring to him, for his safety we will use the abbreviation C.”
The reason for the letter C was not a clear reference to the name Chase , it was referring to “crazy “.
“The FBI said they were investigating, but there are no clear leads yet. Of course the identity of the informant is unknown …”
“Why do they want to hurt him?”
Issac interrupted Mark’s words. Then, Henry next to him yelled:
“You are stupid? If you are looking for someone who wants to hurt him, the list will be immense. Anyone who knows him would like to kill him.”
No one refuted Henry’s words, Josh was silent sipping his coffee and Issac was expressionless. It was a natural reaction. Henry’s words were harsh, even if they were used to it by now.
