First day of college-Harvard. Yes, Harvard is the dream. Should be easy enough for high school valedictorian, swim team and football captain, shouldn't it?

Violet POV:

Mom and dad just dropped me off at the dorms, haven't seen my roommate yet though.
Medical school has been my dream since I was a sophomore. It wasn't easy but I think it'll be worth it when I finally become a doctor. My roommate just walked in and introduced herself.
'Hey, I'm Stephanie Shepherd, you must be the genius kid'. Jeez, I really hope people don't call me that here. Just then a couple of people call us downstairs where all the Harvard freshmen are meeting. This should be fun.
We walk down and I see a really cute guy looking at me and find myself looking at him too.
Steph (yeah she told me to call her that) caught my eye and said "Oh, he's really cute".
Yes Steph, that's why I'm looking at him.
I see my friend Alex Karev as I reach downstairs. Alex is in Harvard Law. Always good to have lawyer friends folks. We went to high school together and we were next door neighbors.
No this isn't typical American boy next door, we're just really good friends.
I'm surprised to see Alex talking to the really cute guy. He sees me approach him and he introduces me to his new friend.
'Hey Violet, meet Harvey Stone-he's at Harvard Law too! Oh cute boy is a lawyer(woohoo).
Harvey-Violet'. We shook hands and Harvey asked me what my major was. 'Yeah, I'm in medical school'
Jeez, all the best man, I could never. But I know where to come if I ever have a heart attack.

We both laugh and I can see myself blushing. After I introduced Steph and Alex, the two of them went off somewhere. Mental note to yell at Steph for ditching me.

Harvey POV:
Damn, the prettiest girl I've ever seen just walked down the stairs. She looks a little intimidated but really pretty. Wonder when this dumb freshmen thing would get over so I can approach her. Ugh and mom keeps calling, how many times do I tell her I'm settled and I've eaten and I'm fine.
Oh wait, why is she approaching this over excited guy who was talking to me earlier.

'Hey, you're Alex right? Hi, I'm Harvey I think we're in the same class'.
Oh yes hi, nice to meet you, one sec my friend is here.
He introduces us and we shake hands. She's gonna become a doctor wow. So she's obviously really smart. We get to talking a bit as I can see Alex and her roommate(Stephanie if I'm not wrong) just took off, thank god actually.

So, do you watch any sports? And hey what's your favorite Tv show? And movie? And omg I should probably shut up right about now. And I go completely red.

Thankfully, she just burst out laughing.
Violet POV:
Guess he's just as nervous as I am. He asks me a bunch of questions and goes fully red.
Hahahaha no no don't.
Yes I watch football, my favorite team is Manchester United and yes its because of Ronaldo.
TV show I watch a bunch of stuff but fave I guess would be Modern Family, same goes for movies actually.
How about you?

Harvey POV:
Woah, she can talk. She rattles on about all the stuff I just asked her. And she asks me the same.
Well, it lasted this long I should be happy.
I like Basketball, support the New York Knicks. My fave TV show would be Suits, yeah I know it's a little on the nose but its really good! Favorite movie is any marvel movie actually.

Violet POV:
Yay, you like Marvel, if not we can't be friends hehe. Suits huh, yeah Patrick J Adams is quite cute :)
So let me guess, you played sports in high school, very popular, dated head cheerleader?

Harvey POV:
0 for 3 damn thought you were smart, might have to change my doctor now xD
No actually I was just one of those Model UN kids who was pretty smart and just got through high school, you know?
Okay let me try, head cheerleader, dated the football team captain, and valedictorian?

Violet POV:
Oof, one for 3, not bad I guess haha. Yeah I was valedictorian, but not the other two.
Actually, never dated anyone in high school xD. Although I was on the swim team and football team.

Harvey POV:
Woah swimming and football? That's awesome dude! How'd you manage all of that?

Violet POV:
Yeah when you move around a lot, it kind of trains you for balancing all this stuff you know. I moved to New York in high school. India is kinda cool, love the place. I do miss it sometimes, I lived there for about 3 years :(
My dad works in IT Business and mum is a doctor. We had to move for my dad's business.

Harvey POV: Oh wow, India? That's pretty cool! I love Indian food! Maybe we could get some sometime!
V:
That'd be neat.
H:
My mum makes good Indian at home. She's a paralegal and works at this private firm. My dad is an architect.

V:
Oh that's cool, my sister studied architecture as well. But, she's a really big UX Designer now, works for Netflix now. And, no we don't get free Netflix!

H:
Oh wow, that's really cool! Awww shucks.

V:
Why are we all gathered here anyway? Is it like an informal way for all of us to get to know each other lol.

H:
Maybe, I'm not sure either, Alex dragged me down. By the way, can I get you something to drink? Or I mean would you like to join me?
Great, I started babbling again.

V:
Yes, Harvey. Let's go hehe. Also please calm down but it helps because I'm just as nervous about everything.

H:
One Dr.Pepper and ... 'Hey what would you like? Oh, I'll have a mountain dew, thanks'

Harvey takes the drinks and guides us to an empty table. Here you go, 'CHEERS'?

V:
I laugh and take a sip and look around. Wow this is it. This is the life I wanted. This is everything. We exchange phone numbers, and finally its time to end the 'informal greeting party'. I actually got to meet a bunch of interesting people from different streams and it was great, I loved every minute of it!

Harvey, however was the highlight of my evening.
