"Hello sweetie."
Camilla stood next to Clessa's bedside.
"And hello immortality."
The Professor raced into the room.
"Camilla don't!"
Camilla turned around.
"You don't understand immortality. It's living forever. Never dying. Being forced to watch the world go by while you sit there, never changing with it."
Camilla showed her fangs.
"Please, just go. I don't want to hurt you."
"If I dominate the world, I will have something to live for."
The Professor paused to look at Clessa's motionless body.
"She's just one girl."
"The girl I love."
Camilla pressed the center of her watch, and Stacey came zapping into the room.
"Mummy! Hurry up and drink her blood."
"We have company."
"Mr. Professor."
Stacey walked over to the Professor.
"How are you?"
"Fine."
"Peachy!"
"And you?"
"Good."
Stacey smiled.
"He looks kind of like daddy."
"Baby, take care of him."
Stacey turned around towards her mother.
"No."
"No?"
"He's nice."
"So was Clessa."
"You made me kill a nice person?"
"Sweetie-."
"Answer the question."
"Y-yes."
"Why? Why would you do that mummy?"
"Because, otherwise you could not be the princess."
"Okay then I forgive you."
Stacey turned back towards the Professor.
"Now time to take care of you."
Stacey giggled and twirled around.
"Big weapon.......little weapon.... oh I'll just self help."
Stacey reached for the Professor's hand, but he quickly jerked away.
"What are you doing?"
Stacey giggled.
"Nothing?"
She reached for his wrist, but the Professor instead grabbed hers. He squeezed, and soon she was knocked out.
"My daughter!"
Camilla left Clessa's side and went down by Stacey. Camilla brushed the hair out of Stacey's eyes.
"My baby."
Camilla let a tear trickle down her face.
"You monster."
"I'm the monster? You killed an innocent girl, and now want to drain her blood to take over the earth. Learn common terms."
Camilla frowned and looked back down at Stacey. She grabbed the blanket off of Clessa, and placed it over Stacey.
"You know I only knocked her out...right?"
Camilla looked up at the Professor.
"Oh really?"
"Yes."
"Well then."
Camilla remove the blanket and tossed it back onto Clessa.
"My baby is fine."
Camilla planted a kiss on Stacey's forehead.
"Back to you."
Camilla pointed the ring at the Professor, and shot.
She missed.
"Nice try," teased the Professor.
"Don't push me skinny boy."
Camilla shot again, but missed.
"Dang it."
She tried to shoot another time, but it would not shoot.
"You are out of blood."
Camilla banged on the ring, but it still would not shoot.
"Looks like your friend is about to become...dry."
Camilla flashed her fangs, and headed towards Clessa.
"No!"
The Professor jumped in front of Camilla, just in time. Camilla sunk her fangs into the Professor. It tasted bitter.
"Yuck! Shadow Searcher blood!"
Camilla wiped her mouth, and tried to spit out the blood.
"It's like poison to vampires. Self defense mechanism."
Camilla sped over to Clessa, but again was blocked by the Professor.
"Move over, alien."
The Professor shoved a table at Camilla, but she dodged it.
"I'll be back."
And with that, Camilla vanished with Stacey.
The Professor looked over at Clessa, and then slowly walked out of the room.
When he got to the main room, Xander was sitting on a chair.
"Thanks for the help."
Xander looked up.
"Did you need me?"
"I was just battling Camilla."
"...Sorry?"
"Every single time you say that, it gets less and less meaning."
Xander looked down at his shoes.
"I'm taking you home."
Xander looked as though he was going to protest, but the Professor just turned on the radio. He started humming along.
"Will you turn that crud off?"
Xander looked up at the Professor, annoyed.
"Can't hear you over the radio."
The Professor hummed to the song.
"Shut up."
The Professor turned off the radio.
"So you live at the...Casanova?"
"Yes."
"Interesting place."
"I guess so."
"What are you studying?"
"Inter galaxy relationships."
"Got my doctorate in that."
"What else do you have your doctorate in?"
"Um...well...everything."
Xander gawked at the Professor.
"Just keep staring."
The Professor flipped a lever, and the Machine stopped.
"Until we meet again."
The Professor snapped his fingers, opening the door.
"Can you actually me to Italy?"
"What part?"
"Florence. Main Street, house one oh five."
The Professor nodded, and switched courses.
"Do you think she will ever come back?"
"The human brain will find a way for you to meet again."
"Dreams?"
The Professor nodded.
"Can I ever come back?"
The Professor nodded.
"Grudges die."
Xander nodded.
"Here we are, Florence. Great city."
The Professor snapped open the doors, revealing a girl with curly blonde hair. She used her bright green eyes to welcome Xander.
"Hey."
The girl was crying.
"Hi," said the girl.
Xander ran out and hugged the girl.
"I've missed you, Giselle."
"I've missed you too, Zandy."
They shared a laugh.
"I'll be off," said the Professor, who had moved towards the door.
"A Shadow Searcher," said Giselle,"thanks for taking care of Zandy."
"He'll be back with me."
The Professor chuckled.
"Thank you, Professor," said Giselle.
"How do you know his name?"
"Legends. The stories of him. Saving the world, civilizations. Passed through where he has gone. Come back again soon."
The Professor smiled. He waved to Xander, who nodded back. The Professor closed the door, and let the Machine float into space.
Back in Clessa's room, everything was still. The light showed bright in, making Clessa's face look pure.
She was so still.
Then, a woman with black hair stepped into the room. She was wearing a white gown that brought out her green eyes. It was the real Angelina. She passed through a table.
"My daughter, my beautiful daughter."
Tears fell down her face. She stroked Clessa's hair out of her face.
"My last gift to you."
The tears that were supposed to fall to the ground disappeared into thin air. She looked out of the window. Her face became straight.
"My baby."
Angelina forgot about her old world behind her, and remembered her daughter. She looked just like Jan.
"My poor, poor baby. Here is our last moment together."
Angelina blew a golden mist. It looked like sparkle dust coming from her mouth, but made by an angel.
Angel let the dust blow over Clessa. It settled on her body, and sparkled.
"Our last moment shall be the best."
Angelina grabbed Clessa's limp hand, and squeezed it.
"I'm so sorry."
Angelina started crying, but her tears were just like the golden dust. They fell onto Clessa's hand.
Soon, it was visible that the gold was pulsing through her veins. She looked like a light.
Clessa glowed. The golden dust pumped through her veins.
"Goodbye my child."
Angel blew a kiss, sending more dust Clessa's way. Angelina's mouth twisted into a kind smile.
Angelina turned around and let her black hair fall into the frame of her face. As she turned around, her hair blew. It looked like a dark cloud, except not as evil. More like a dark cloud brining rain to a drought.
Her smile lingered in the room, making it feel warm.
Clessa was still glowing. Soon, her finger twitched.
As is a miracle happened, Clessa drew in a deep breath. Life was coming back for Clessa, and soon, she sat up in the small bed.
