✧ Red's wasn't one for sitting down and reading unless it was a crossword puzzle or the Garfield comics in the newspaper. But he was interested in the trilogy he found in the back of Abe's library, like he would notice they were missing anyways

✧ He would read them every night before he slept, on the days he was off and on his breaks. It was only a matter of time before he should you his interest in these amazing reads

✧ You and Hellboy had been friends for such a long time, so it was bound to happen; Hellboy crushin' on you... a lot. As much as he denied it, we all know Abe hushed him up

✧ "So, you like them, huh? I've never read them before," You said, looking over the cover and the back thoroughly. You never liked what you publisher did with the awful color scheme, but the plot took so long you just wanted it out of your hands

✧ "It's just like... I'm put into another world while I read it. I don't know, I normally don't like reading."

✧ " You should read more I've done-"

✧ Before you realized what you said you just stared back at him with what I like to call the "Oh fuck" face. The corners of your mouth dropped and your eyebrows raised. Hellboy almost did the same, but he pieced together the authors name

✧ It was just your first and last name mixed together a bit to make another. Clever, but he felt really dumb right about now. He had told you before how amazing your writings for the Bureau where and even slipped up telling you just how he felt about you before. This only made him blush a deep red harder than before

✧ "Huh.... Well, you'd think you'd read it before if you wrote it," He grinned
