When You Blush

(Y/N)'s POV

I arrived at DWMA with (M/N) and today is Wednesday. Ever since we enrolled at the academy, so far everything is cool and sometimes challenging. Anyway, we head inside the school and when we got there, we saw Soul and Maka in the east hall. I smiled and we decided to approach them. They noticed us and Maka said, "Hey (Y/N)! (M/N)!". I waved and said, "Good morning, guys!". Soul and (M/N) high-fived and I said. "So, how are you guys?", I asked and gave Maka a hug. Maka hugged back and said, "We're doing fine". We let go and Soul ruffled my hair. "What about you two? Are you guys doing a pretty good job here at the academy?", Soul asked with a smile. We nodded and (M/N) said, "Of course, man. Ever since we studied here, we doing just fine although sometimes there are times where we are facing stronger challenges along the way but don't worry both of us are trying our best". Soul chuckled and said, "Wow, when you put it that way, I guess I'm gonna cheer for you guys". (M/N) smiled and said, "Thanks a lot, Soul. Anyhow, I think classes are about to start. Shall we get going?". All of us nodded and head to the classroom in rush.

Hours has passed and it's lunch break at last. Everyone in the classroom went outside in a flash and I guess they are hungry. I stood up from my desk and suddenly someone called me. I turned to see Kid waving at me with a smile beside the classroom. I giggled and walked towards him. "Hi Kid!", I said and smiled. "Hello (Y/N). Want to join me in the cafeteria? To be honest, I've been waiting for you", he said and patted my shoulder. "Oh, sure", I answered and both of us head to the cafeteria.

We finally arrived at cafeteria and there lots of people getting their lunches from the lunch ladies and the line was long. I gulped then I realized the cafeteria is really packed and I asked, "Why is there lots of people today? It looks like a morning lunch rush here in DWMA". I was waiting for Kid to answer but when I looked at my left, Kid wasn't there and the flow of the students pushed me a little bit. Oh no, this isn't good and I lost Kid in the crowd of students. I looked left and right then I thought, 'What? Where's Kid?', I thought and started to go through the crowd of students. Just when I was about to lose it, I felt my hand being grabbed. I gasped and saw Kid's arm. I looked at him and Kid said, "(Y/N)!". I smiled in relief and Kid pulled me closer. After all the effort of pulling me from the crowd, Kid finally got me out. I panted and looked at him with a smile in my face. "T-Thanks Kid. Wow, you found me", I said and bowed slightly. He smiled sweetly and said, "Oh, it's nothing and sorry for, you know, losing you into the crowd". I giggled and said, "It's alright. I mean you found me afterall". He sighed in relief and said, "I'm glad. Anyhow, from now on I'm gonna hold your hand this time. So, we wouldn't lose each other, kay?". I blushed and my cheeks are turning pink. For some reason, my heart is pounding right now and it's a new feeling for me. Kid noticed that I'm spacing out and he asked, "Hey, (Y/N). You alright?". I gasped and looked at his golden eyes. "O-oh! I'm alright!! Hehehe", I said and scratched the back of my neck with my free hand. He just sighed and smiled. "Alright. Now, let's wait in line together, shall we?", he said and asked like a gentleman. I nodded with a smile and went in line while holding hands.
