Later that night, Hannan called.

"Her Khadijah, I looked up the name you sent me. Simetra Addams, American by birth but moved to Kuwait as a teenager with her family. She lost all her family in a car accident and was the sole survivor. She was in system till she turned 18, got a job and began fending for herself. She has a degree in engineering and 23 years old. But something feels off about her though."

"How so?" I asked.

"Aside from the info I just gave, there isn't much else on her. No social media accounts, no uploads, no post, the only pictures of her are the ones on her documents. "

"Hmm, that does sound odd, no matter how much of a recluse you are you'd have to have some sort of social life. Let me know if you find anything else, I have to prepare for something."

I got off the phone and walked into the room. Ashraf was already asleep so I just climbed into bed wrapped my arms around him from behind. I soon fell into a dreamless sleep.

The next morning Ashraf and I got down to planning, we decided to only tell Hannan and Omar of what we were planning just in case things went south. I went under the bed and opened a secret compartment which I had stuffed full of weaponry.

"Should I be concerned that we've been sleeping above a literally pile of destruction or impressed that you found a secret compartment before I did even though I've lived here longer?" Ashraf said with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"You can be both. You can also be picking what you'll be using for tonight's operation." I replied.

I went to the closet and got out a suitable outfit to hide all the weapons while still being modest and mobile. While we were arranging all our equipment, I heard familiar set of footsteps and quickly shoved everything under the bed. Just as the door opened I noticed a gun sticking out of the blanket and I pushed under my pillow and laid on it.

"Tasneem! What did I say about running in the house? You'll get hurt!" I scolded.

Tasneem pouted but mostly ignored my words as she climbed onto bed and hid behind Ashraf. Seconds later Suwayd comes running in looking for her while covered in cereal. I sighed as I picked him up and took him into the bathroom to clean up.

Tasneem followed us in, I looked down at her and noticed that her WHITE dress was completely drenched in chocolate. So drenched I didn't notice it was a white dress the first time.

I took in deep breaths and took off the dress then put her in the tub with Suwayd. I honestly don't know where all this patience with children comes from, but I'm thankful for it because had it been anyone else I would've had my hands around their neck shaking them like a rag doll.

I cleaned them up, scolded them then called out to maid. When the maid didn't show I was puzzled. That was when I noticed the guilty look on Tasneem's face and the glint of mischief in Suwayd's eye.

"What did you two do?" I glared at them, hoping it still worked and they'd spill.

It still did because Tasneem caved instantly.

"We're sorry mom! We just wanted to play hide and seek a little before breakfast but then while she was chasing us she accidentally spilled chocolate on the floor and slipped and fell then fell asleep. We went to the kitchen to get water to wake her up but the Suwayd said he was hungry and then we climbed onto the table because she had already put out everything then Suwayd picked up the cereal while I carried the milk but then we bumped into each other and spilled both on Suwayd then Suwayd picked up the chocolate and poured it on my dress and then we started fighting and then I ran so he wouldn't catch and then I came you and Dad's room!" She said in one breathe.
