Baffy: One Shot stories!

*Author's Note: in this oneshot: Bugs and Daffy are dating and newly engaged. In this oneshot, Bugs decides to take the next step forward with his relationship with Daffy and talks about marriage over dinner of their 2nd year anniversary. Which made Daffy all too happy in response. Until the next morning when he realizes that he is starting to feel overwhelmed by the whole idea of them officially tying the knot to the point of where he is losing his feathers. I hope you all enjoy this oneshot that will have you remind yourself to tell your sweethearts that they are loved no matter what happens. Enjoy. 😊 ♥️

Chapter 1:

It was lovely late Wednesday evening as Bugs and Daffy are having dinner on what would be their 2 year anniversary together as a couple right in the comfort of their own home.

With the two quietly eating homemade spaghetti and salad on opposite sides of the table. 

Until Bugs was able to collect himself into asking the big question and decided to start off the conversation, first.

"So Daffy...there's something that I've been wanting to tell you for quite some time. And... I couldn't find the right moment to say it until now." Bugs spoke on in a mumble while rubbing his neck, nervously.

"What is it?" Daffy asked curiously but also concerned from the way Bugs expressed his statement.

Until Bugs hands, that were comfortably wrapped around his own over the middle of the table, had convinced him otherwise.

"You and I have been together for so many years and well....I was wondering....maybe we could be more than just the couple who happen to also be roommates.... but I guess, the better question is.... Will you marry me?" Bugs asked him with a glowing smile.

Which made Daffy's heart skip its beats in a flutter.

While the constant nagging in his mind, kept denying the whole thing all at once.

As if it was a dream that he didn't think he  deserved to have.

"Pfft. Is that it? I thought for a moment that you wanted me to sign some legal documents..." Daffy was going to say in a nervous laugh until Bugs moved a little closer to him.

And even got down to one knee!

"I'm serious, Daffy. I really want us to take this next step together. Here, happy anniversary." Bugs explained further before pulling out a ring box from his pocket and hands it over to Daffy.

"Oh. You're....not kidding." Daffy mumbled while opening it up to see 2 shining gold rings sitting in its holding place.

One for each person to hold and to honor in their future vows.

As Daffy's heart had now danced around in beautiful butterflies.

Which somehow had became too loose for him to hold onto.

He...wants to marry me?

But....why?

Could I really spend the rest of my life with him without also bringing him down from all of my problems?

Daffy wondered in a stump, at how this next chapter of their life was going to be for them.

Scared that their future may be too uncertain to tell what could go right or wrong for the both of them.
