High school AU, Cas is an angel (sort of), and Dean isn't a hunter.
Cas POV
As I walk through the door, I am instantly hit with the strong scent of alcohol and cigarette smoke, I wrinkle my nose in disgust, wishing Charlie hadn't brought me here. I turn around to face my best friend and grab onto her arm tightly.
"Charlie please, let's just go, this was a bad idea. Can we just go back to my place and have a Sherlock marathon?" I begged, making my eyes go as big as I could get them. For a second I thought she was going agree, but that was until a short, curvy girl with brown hair tied into a side braid walked past, and winked at her.
"Cas, you have to stay. You need to socialise for once, have a drink, loosen up. Maybe you'll be able to finally have the courage to talk to a certain someone." She said, raising her eyebrows knowingly. I tell Charlie everything, and I mean everything. Like how I'm bisexual with a preference for boys, and how I accidentally fell a teensy bit in love with Dean Winchester. I probably tell her more than I should, more than my family would let me. More than humans are allowed to know.
I sigh and Charlie walks off, strutting over to the brunette who looks an awful lot like Katniss from the Hunger Games. Charlie can get anyone she wants, she's literally turned girls gay before.
I decide to do what she says and make my way over to the kitchen, which takes a lot more effort than I thought it would. For starters I didn't even know where it was, and if it wasn't difficult enough trying to navigate where it was, I also had to make it through the horrible tangle of drunk teenagers grinding up against each other, smoking drugs and drinking alcohol, generally just making bad choices that they will regret later.
When I finally find the kitchen, there aren't any beers left, only shots of a brown liquid that smells very strongly of alcohol. I suppose it won't have much of an effect on me, so while I think nobody's looking, I quickly down six of them. I can barely feel anything, better have another. I drink one more and suddenly I feel kind of dizzy, but in a good way. I turn around and bump straight into him.
"Oh, God, I'm so sorry." I say, giggling. He looks down at me, worriedly.
"It's fine. Um, Cas, right?" I giggle again, why do I keep laughing? I can't help it, either.
"Are you okay? I just watched you drink seven shots of tequila, I mean, you should be on the floor by now."
Crap, I'd forgotten humans have a limited alcohol intake. I do as well, I suppose, but I won't when I'm older and I'm finally a fully grown angel who's earned their wings.
"I just have a very high tolerance to alcohol." I say, feeling like my words were slightly slurred, I can't really tell. Woah. For a second my vision blurs and all I can see is his pretty green eyes. Yet again I start laughing.
"What?" He asks me, seeming concerned. I put my hand up to his cheek, I don't know why, it seems appropriate.
"You have beautiful eyes." He starts laughing then. "What?" I ask, tilting my head.
"Nothing. I think you're a little drunk though." I gasp, I am not drunk, maybe a tiny bit tipsy, but I am not drunk.
"All have you know, Mr Dean Winchester, I am not drunk at all." I say stubbornly.
"Okay, fine." He laughs slightly, raising his hands, in a surrendering manner. I put my hands against his and he looks at me confused, I don't know why, though.
Someone turns the music down and I hear a voice shouting "Who wants to play spin the bottle?" And I squeal with excitement, I have never played before, I start jumping up and down with mine and Dean's hands still connected and he just smiled at me.
"Ooh I've never played before!" I say happily, grinning down at Dean. He looked like he was biting his cheeks, maybe it was to practice pouting or something.
"Well why don't we go and play it then?" He says, and I just nod vigorously in response, as he lead me to the main room where everyone had started to crowd in, presumably for the spin the bottle. I grabbed Dean's hand, pulling him down next to me at the circle of people that was forming around a beer bottle. Lisa, a pretty, dark haired cheerleader spun it first. I concentrated hard on the bottle, using as much angelic power I had to make sure it didn't land on Dean. Watching it spin made me feel dizzy, which made me involuntarily giggle to myself. I shook my head, making sure I wouldn't lose focus, and made it stop at someone who I don't really know that well, he's called Benny, I think. Some people whistled as they leaned in to kiss each other and I started clapping, but Dean put his hands on top of mine and lowered them, to make me stop. The kiss only lasted for a few seconds, and then it was Benny's turn. This time I didn't control who the bottle landed on, I just made sure it wouldn't land on Dean. Surprisingly, it landed on me. I didn't want to kiss Benny, I only wanted to kiss Dean. I saw Benny blushing, but just ignored it. I put my lips very close to his, so it looked like I had kissed him. I heard lots of people whistling, so it seemed to satisfy them. Then I spun the bottle, using all my power to make sure it landed on the beautiful green eyed boy next to me. When it did, I had to try extremely hard not to jump up and down with excitement. He turned slightly pink which looks adorable, and again whistles echoed throughout the room as we leaned in. I firmly pressed my lips to his and began to part them, but then I realised I should pull away, after all, we are in a room full of people. Just as I start to, he puts his arms around the back of my neck, pulling me in closer, instead parting my lips, deepening the kiss. I straddle him, making my position more comfortable, as I run my hands through his hair. I slip my tongue into his mouth, exploring it, it tastes like beer, but it's perfect. Finally, I force myself away from him, not wanting to take it too far in front of everyone. I look around the room at everyone's shocked faces. I can see Charlie in the corner of the room, looking like she's trying to hold back her excitement. I looked at Lisa, who's sat opposite me, and she looks really pissed off. Jealous much? "Well, I think that's enough." She announced, getting the bottle and throwing it in the trash, leaving the room. Someone turned the music back up and people start dancing again, almost like nothing happened. "So," Dean said in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. "Want to continue this upstairs?"
Hey guys! It's been a while, I'm sorry I've just been busy with school and revision, but I will try to write more, soon.
