Have you been chased by your doppelganger?

Well, I have.

We were at the front door of the study, which means we have half a way to get to our destination. Only that I am on the left, Him on the right. It's better than nothing, we think in unison. If we didn't had information about where the hole's location is, we might had to go all the way back, to the other end of the corridor.

We bid each other farewell and promises to see each other at our final destination. Then we part ways. Actually, Me and him have never been caught by our doppelganger. Not once. So what if they catches us, I don't know what they'll do, and what'll happen to us. Will they leave us here and replace ourselves in real life? Living as me and him? I have no idea. What I reckon is if they does, we are doomed.

After a while I started walking, I saw him - Kyle - walking forward. These items were quite handy, for it glowed a little. Although mine was hard to spot it directly, his wasn't hard to miss. What I hoped is until the end, please let us be. No Doppelgangers, no running, ever again.

And no such luck, because Words become seeds.

Kyle's came first. I almost crawled when I heard somebody's hasty footsteps. When I realized it wasn't mine? I stood up and kept moving forward... until I got pushed. And... my foot slipped, with me fallen on the ground. What was that?

My eyes were half-open, and when I fully opened my eyes, there was Kyle and his doppelganger. Somehow our paths matched. They didn't see me, because they were fighting for each other's lives. Then it came to me. Where's my-

Then with a sudden force, I was up on my feet. She's here. I honestly regret wishing that she will not show herself, or come after me, even. I blinked for a second and came back to my senses. I have to fight this, and I'll win.

Kyle was already gone when I quickly glanced around me. He'll be there, I thought. And I will be, and I have to be. First I have to get away from her and widen the distance. Good thing is, I think both of another MEs were not in a good shape. Me and Kyle had some strength, for we hardly ran. But it seems they have been running half of the maze to find us, without knowing we were in the study. Mine's only changes faces, unlike Kyle's, so I have no choice but to trust my physical abilities. And believe me, I am an average middle school girl, soon-to-be attending high school.

The only advantage I have now is that although I was throttled to the ground I still am quite in a better condition than her. It will be the same for Kyle. She's fading, I thought. I mean not literally but physically. And this is the first time our doppelgangers met, too. They have never met each other, until now. Why? I guess that me and Kyle never met, until now. Which means they were only cascading their part of the maze.

I quickly got out of her hand and went back to the corridors. She didn't come after me. Last moment I saw her she was out of her breath. Guess I'll have to move through Kyle's maze. I hope he's okay, away from his doppelganger.
