𝑩𝑳𝑼𝑬 𝑫𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑬𝑹 || 𝗞𝗻𝘆 𝘅 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘁

『 Gone Wrong 』

The healthy blue colouring of the flowers were now darkish brown, the petals wrinkled and fell to the ground slowly. Upon further investigation, Graham found the cause of the withering were from the sudden lowering of the temperature. It actually surprised him on how quick the flowers withered.

Doc Greene had provided a temperature setting device to make sure the flowers could grow without any problem. Aoba suspected that the culprit must have messed with the device and he didn't noticed it first in his attempt of catching the culprit.

" I should have stayed behind and let the rescue team handle the capturing. " The botanist sighed, running his fingers on the dead flower. " I am sorry your device is broken, Doc. "

" It's all right, no worries. But what about your project now? You have no flowers left now. " Doc Greene wondered.

Surprisingly, Aoba smiled and rummaged through his sling bag. He pulled out a vial filled with blueish colored liquid in it. He looked a little bit guilty as he said, " I used one of Blue Spider Lily flower that was healthy enough to experiment with. I made the procedure in my room as a precaution to avoid the stalker seeing me doing my work, as he usually done so in the lab. I still don't know what kind of medicine it can be, but at least I have one finished sample. "

" All right! Way to go! " Frankie cheered. " Better keep that safe first though. "

Chief Burns approached Aoba closer. " Mr Aoba, can my team and I talk to you for a moment? " He lead the man to the Burns and the bots before continued. "Do you know anyone that has any advanced technology devices like Doc's? Maybe something that can turn one into invincible or something? "

Aoba blinked at the odd question. " Well, no, I don't think so. Even if Japan is very developed in technology, I think Griffin Rock's is more advanced in many aspects. Like the Rescue Bots. They move so fluently and quick to the rescue. "

" So no lead. Great. How are we going to go after the culprit now? " Kade grumbled. " It's weird too that he brought his cat along. "

" Cat? " Aoba looked to the Chief.

" Apparently the culprit has a partner in crime. " Chief Burns said.

The botanist placed a finger on his lips, a thoughtful expression on his face.

" It doesn't happen to be a calico cat, does it? With amber eyes? "

" Wait, you've seen that cat before? " Dani asked.

" Sometimes, back around my apartment and my lab in Japan. I thought he was just a hungry and tried to give him food before but he didn't eat anything I gave him. "

Graham shook his head. " He has a owner and it happens to be your stalker. "

Aoba shot his hand to cover his mouth as he let out a gasp, his eyes bulging in surprise. " So that's why it feels like the stalker knows every of my movements! He must have put a camera on the cat or something. "

" Guess we're keeping an eye around for the cat too then. " Chief Burns said.

Cody and Frankie were, understandably, couldn't kept themselves up during the quiz session the next day in class. They did managed to answer every questions but they would always yawned or nodded their head sleepily. With how chaotic last night was, they didn't get much sleep. Even though Cody was used to late night emergency, there were still times that he found himself sleepy.

Perhaps the day was a bad time to be sleepy, when Cody hurt himself in biology class during experiments. Pieces of the broken glass beaker laid on the table or on the ground, but there was dark red spot among the pieces. The boy hissed as he inspected the rather large cut on his hand. Thankfully the school time was about to end and he spent the remaining few minutes being attended by the school's nurse.
