『 On The Loose 』

" It was my stalker! " Aoba gasped, rising from his seat. " Didn't you guys said that when you were pursuing him, he had a calico cat with him? "

The dots began to click connect together inside everyone's mind, on the connection between the mysterious stalker and the demon. Kade snapped his fingers. " Your stalker was trying to destroy the Blue Spider Lily because he knew how dangerous it can be! "

" The stalker...is the last demon in existence! " Dani exclaimed. " Though, not anymore with Cody now. "

" I am kinda lost here? " Woodrow put up his hand and Chief Burns went to explain the whole ' Aoba being stalked ' story.

Doc Greene tapped his finger on his lips. " Now that we know who the stalker is, how do we call for him? He's the only one who has the information of how to turn demons into humans. "

Seemingly coming to another dead end, everyone slumped down a little. The demon must thought that he had destroyed every Blue Spider Lily flowers so he had no more reasons to come and stalk Aoba again.

" Why don't we just spread the words of Mr Aoba still having Blue Spider Lily sample until the news arrived to his ears? " Graham suggested.

" We can do that. Mr Aoba should be in the garden lab in preparation. Call us if you notice something, will you? " Chief Burns looked at the blue-haired man.

Aoba nodded. " Of course. "

" How is Cody doing? "

The Rescue Bots looked at their partners as the Burns walked to them. They noted Woodrow being there and tipped their helms as a greeting sign. Heatwave sighed and shook his helm.

" Still wrapped in his blanket. It's as if he's afraid of the sun. "

" Figures. Demons really don't like the sun. " Woodrow said.

The statement drew confused looks from the bots. After a few minutes of explanation, the bots finally caught up with the situation. With how much things they had been through, the existence of supernatural creatures like demons were nothing strange to them. It was still upsetting to see someone they cared about being affected by it though.

" Does Cody needs to eat humans to live? " Blades whispered, glancing at the window as he knelt down in front of Dani.

Dani looked at her uncle for any suitable answer and Woodrow answered. " Based on the diary, demons eat humans for energy. The sister demon in the story didn't eat humans and slept a lot as a replacement for eating. If we can prevent Cody from eating anyone and get him to alter his energy source, maybe he will also turn out fine. So far, there has only one demon who has never eat humans. I don't know about the other two good demons, but hopefully they didn't do such. "

" So he needs to sleep it seems. " Chase nodded. " A lot sleep then. "

" We need to spread the word about Mr Aoba still having Blue Spider Lily sample around the place. Even though Doc Greene promised to look after Cody, I am still worried. Blades and Boulder will keep their optics on Cody, while the rest go on spreading the words. " Chief Burns instructed.

" Ah, this is a white lie case, isn't it? " Chase pointed out as he transformed into his vehicle mode.

" For the benefits of others, yes. Especially for Cody's well being. " The man said, slipping into the driver seat.
