Forty-One

It was over. Finally. I can move on. Ten years in a cage. Now the cage was blown up. I breath a sigh of relief. 

"Thank you Temen. You saved Tuk's life again." Jake Sully said.

"I told you, I saw it. Luckily I prevented it." I say. 

"Thank you for preventing it." He says. 

I nod. We ride in silence. I see the other clan members. They were all waiting for us. We land. Jake runs to his family. He kisses Neytiri and he picks up Tuk. Lo'ak walks over to me. 

"They kissed should we...?" I ask. 

Without saying anything Lo'ak grabs me and brings me into a kiss. I hear Tuk and Kiri giggling under their breath. I don't care. We kiss for like six minutes before we stopped. 

"That was fun." I say. 

"You are such a great kisser." Lo'ak said. 

Neytiri looks at me.

"Thank you." She said. 

"Temen?" I hear a voice. 

That voice, was it in my head? I had almost forgotten the sound of it. The sound that I haven't heard in over ten-years. I turn around. I see a Na'vi staring at me. She felt warm.

"Mama?" I ask. 

To'ak starts to cry. I begin to tear up as well. I run to her. She runs to me. I press my face into her chest. Her heartbeat felt soft and calm. I feel the same warmth that I felt before the sky people had come. I grip her with one arm. 

"I am so sorry I wasn't there for you." She cried. 

"Mama." I say.

She puts both her hands on my face.

"You look so handsome." She said. 

Jake comes over. She takes his arms. 

"Tsnì, tsnì so pamtseo." She says. 

(Thank you, thank you so much.)

"Your son is now a member of the clan. I think he would be happy if you stay here." Jake says. 

She nods. We hug again. She reaches out for Lo'ak. He comes into her embrace. Tuk also runs into our legs. Kiri and Spider come. I feel warm all over. Jake and Neytiri joined in. It's over for me. The Sky People have been defeated. Our lives can only get happier from here.
