My hopes (Cuphead Show and Oc story)

Introduction ~ Met

POV
Another day in the Inkwell Isles, the sun is shining, sparkling as ever, and music is playing outside with little Miss Chalice dancing like a peach she is and moving onto Uncle Kettle Cottage with two brothers inside. Cuphead the red cup and Mugman the blue mug, two energetic brothers that keep going into trouble but today was a normal day. Or was it?

"Checkmate! I won!" Cuphead fluently said with a smug look on his face with arms crossed.

"Ah geez, good game Cuphead" Mugman replied back then started to put the game away, not feeling in rage but not too happy he won.

Cuphead still had the smug look but after a few seconds he yawned of boredom then got off the chair. "Alright Mugsy, we need to go on another adventure! I don't want to stay here all day in the house." Mugman looked over to Cuphead and gave a sigh "Well, you can go out on your adventure, but I'm going to stay here and finish reading my book. It's getting good so far and I need a break. Now if you excuse me" he sat on a chair and opened his book, Cuphead shrugged then walked out of the house and closed the door.

He didn't know where to go after that. He looked at the birds and town. It was crowded today. He saw Chalice dancing and laughing, his eyes sparkled and ran over to her. "Chalice!" he said in a cheerful tone. She looked over to him and gave a deep sigh "I'm sorry Cuphead but right now I'm busy!"

"Oh, it's okay, Chalice! What are you up to?"

"Making a little money! Same old thing but working it off!"

"That's cool! Can I join?"

"Sure I don't see why not!"

After a few mins they made a lot and gave a friendly laugh with each other, they enjoyed the moment they had.

They sadly said their goodbyes and they went their own paths.

Now he was on his way to the park, he heard nothing but kids cheerful laughs and talks so it was a sign that he was near.

Cuphead POV
I'm here at the park. Nothing much to do, I wanna go on another high seas adventure or go to the carnevil again! But I don't wanna risk my life for a good while, or I can maybe go to that casino again! Aw man my stomach is rubbing now, I'm getting hungry, I should've eaten something before I left the house.

POV
Cuphead looked around the park for something free to eat, but he didn't have any money on him. His stomach was growling, craving for anything at this point. He sniffed a hotdog?! He ran over to the scent and saw a girl sitting on a bench about to eat the hotdog so he snatched it from her. She looked stunned and scared? He ate the hotdog fast and felt better now, not a stomach full but something in. The girl just stared at him and he thanked her for the hotdog. She just stayed still and at first he didn't seem to care then carried on his way until he saw her holding a cookie.

She flinched and looked into the cups' eyes while holding onto the cookie. She really didn't know what to do, it seemed like she was frozen. Then he rolled his eyes and knew he couldn't waste time just standing. He was going to do the same thing again until she held out 10 bucks out of nowhere. Toward him?! He snatched the 10 bucks from her.
"Oh boy! 10 bucks! Thank you!"
She looked shaken then pointed at a hotdog stand then the 10 bucks with a gesture to sit down next to her. He zoomed quickly like the flash of speed, the girl watched him order from far away then looked down while shaking.

After 2 mins he came back to her then felt awkward for a bit. He couldn't waste time so he sat down and took a bite out of his hotdog while looking at the girl.

The Girl POV
What should I do?! Or say?! This is awkward.. My face feels like a tomato, gosh this is embarrassing for me to take, I want to do something but someone is next to me I don't know, should I write in my notebook?! He is not even interested in someone that doesn't talk, so why did I gesture to let him sit next to me. Why did I think that-

POV
"So, what's your name?" Cuphead asked. Her eyes lit up at him after hearing that question. She then grabbed a little notepad and pencil then wrote on it while shaking, the red straw cup tilted his head at her, seeming curious. She showed it to him after it was finished. It said that her name is Coco and that it was nice meeting him.

In a prouding tone with a fist on his chest with chin lifted up "Well pleasure to meet ya! I'm Cuphead!" He smirked at that introduction then she recognized his name then drew a dice on the little notepad and pointed at him with her pencil. "What does that mean? You need to speak, you know" Cuphead said. The girl shook her head slowly then drew on it again but this time him with a mic, King Dice, and a radio. "Ohhhh! You recognize me from the show!" She nodded at his response then gave him her notebook with pencil, she wanted an autograph.

He was confused so he drew a picture of a hotdog with his name next to it, which brought a smile on her face but she started to shake again, due to meeting him. She wanted to leave but she wanted to stay, all she wanted was a new friend.

She grabbed a bag next to her and went through it, maybe that's where she got the 10 bucks from, then took out two cookies and handed one over to Cuphead, he took it and ate it along with her. The taste was amazing, the chocolate chips were popping and the cookie was smooth.

"These taste amazing! Where did you get these?!" Cuphead asked in astonishment.

Coco wrote down slowly then showed it to him. It said "I made them myself" as she looked down, flattered to hear that her homemade cookies were good.

"You made these?! Do you think you can bring more later!" Cuphead eyes felt like they were sparkling but Coco felt a bit to rush but answered with a nod. She looked at him then heard a voice calling out to him and turned around. It was Mugman.

"CUPHEAD! There you are, listen, a new sale is going on for-" before he could finish his sentence he looked at Coco.

"Who's this?" Mugman asked.

"A fan of mine! Her name is Coco"

"Oh really? How?"

"She listens to Roll the Dice too!"

"Hm, well then" he putted a hand out to Coco "I'm Mugman is a pleasure to meet you"

She looked at his hand then slowly reached to him, they shook hands slowly, Mugman was being gentle to her. It looked like he knew about her already. Cuphead stuck out his tongue and stood up from the bench.

"Well Mugsy, what were you saying?"

Mugman stopped then looked at his dear brother.

"There's a new sale that's selling movie tickets for the upcoming weekend! We can get them right now and see them a week early!"

"OH HECK YEAH! LETS G-"

"Cuphead wait!"

He looked over to Coco, she started to get shivers down her spine. Mugman have a friendly smile.

"Would you like to join us Coco?"

She slowly nodded then looked at the two Cup brothers then took her notepad and bag then stood up.

"Alright then! Let's go!" Mugman said in a confident reply.
Cuphead zoomed out like a gust of wind while Mugman ran after him.

Coco had a little smile on her face, then took a deep breath and ran after them.
