POV
We have the three buddies coming out of the studio while the two brother we're laughing from moments at the movie. While we have a quiet little girl walking next to them having a little smile on her face, she was holding her leftover popcorn she ate. "We should do this again!" Cuphead happily said, Mugman nodded, agreeing with his brother then looked over at Coco "do you want to?" he asked. She looked tumbled again then slowly nodded at him.
"Great! What should we do now?" Cuphead said.
"Maybe we should get back to Elder Kettle, he probably needs help with the fence" Mugman replied.
"No way! We need to have another adventure! This is baby stuff!"
"Cuphead, we can't risk another one! We have responsibilities to take care of! We can get it over with work then have our adventure!"
"But I want to go now! Please Mugsy!"
Mugman looked disappointed that his brother wasn't taking the idea, at the same time Mugman did want to go on an adventure but he also didn't want to slack off. He sighed and gave in, he felt horrible but at least he's getting more free time. Coco was listening the whole time, she thought that they ignored her and gave a little sigh but the cups over to her.
"You okay?" Mugman asked.
Coco's eyes widened then looked around for a distraction then pointed at a beautiful garden. She felt embarrassed for thinking like that but felt warm inside her little soul. Cuphead and Mugman looked over to it then Cuphead rolled his eyes but gave a sigh. "You want to go there?" he mumbled. Coco slowly nodded in return and handed him another 10 bucks for him to go but Mugman interrupted by going in between them, grabbed the money, and put it back in her bag.
"Don't pay for him to go, he needs to learn to manage respect"
"Heyy, what's that supposed to mean!?"
Mugman scoffed to his brother.
Mugman POV
I'll be honest my brother does need to learn how to control himself but at the same time, he does make good choices but sometimes it goes wrong. I love my brother and this nice girl needs to control to- man I don't know how to even explain it. I looked at my brother and he didn't look too happy.
"It was another 10 bucks!" my brother whined.
"I know but you can't just take it like that, learn some manners" I scoffed.
Staying quiet, I looked up at the garden. It was quite beautiful. The flowers look like they're in season but I don't want to hurt the poor flowers, they look lovely but I want to take some for Elder Kettle. He deserves an apology. I looked at Coco and saw her looking scared and nervous, I suppose she's thinking.
I felt the wind blowing my straw and I turned again looking at the garden. I stayed quiet then I ran over to it, I heard my brother yell out for me but I didn't wanna listen, I just wanted to see the flowers, what's up with me? I can't focus on that now. The leaves were crunching while the wind was blowing.
As I arrived, looking at the flowers, there were a lot of bright colors. I looked over to my left to see Cuphead finally arriving, he looked out of breath, tired from all that running but Coco came from behind and looked happy. Man these two really have quite the energy. I saw Coco sitting down next to me then she looked at the flowers near a grass area, she crawled like a baby taking its lessons then laid down in the sun. She looked relieved and free, like a princess that ran away from a locked kingdom. She had that expression when you go outside and feel like falling down. I want to know about her, I wonder why she came with us.
Maybe I will soon.
Cuphead POV
I'm TIRED. I ran across the park to a GARDEN. Just because my brotha wanted to follow Cocos' plan since there was nothin better to do. NOTHING BETTER!? We could have done something else instead of this! Like the beach or going to the graveyard or something else, but I gotta admit, I guess the garden isn't too bad but it's just nothin better.
It's weird that I'm just staring at my brotha, but he's looking at Coco? Kinda weird, or double weird weird. I look over to Coco and I see her relaxing, she looks happy I guess, with her side hairs blowing and her eyes closed like uh what's it called.. Sleeping beauty? I walked over to her and sat down next to her, what was the reason? I don't know. I can see my brotha lookin over to us and I just played with a flower. It was quite soft but I got up and walked off. I should've done this.
POV
Cuphead was walking over then his brother Mugman was watching him leave. He sighed then Coco started to open her eyes and turned to Mugman, her eyes looking at his and his looking at hers. It felt so awkward then Mugman got up and walked around, picking up flowers, as for Coco she was still laying down, she didn't care if she got dirty or bugs got on her, she just wanted to be underneath the sun. After 10 minutes Coco was back taking a nap and Mugman looked over to her. He didn't want to disturb her. It turns out Mugman was blocking the shining sun that caused her to wake up, she looked at Mugman with one eye, starting to sit up causing Mugman to be startled. He sighed in relief.
"Say Coco, what are you? Why did you follow us? I know it sounds rude but I want to know more about you." Mugman said.
She looked at her bag with pencil and notepad. She shook her head and hugged her knees.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to!" he said.
Coco's eyes lid up and she took it out then wrote on it. She showed him the message but her handwriting was cursive.
"I don't know who I am myself to be honest. All I know that my name is Coco and I followed you two because I really don't have any company these days. I'm a lonely girl or something that doesn't talk unless I have too."
Mugman raised an eyebrow but understood he sighed "you have anxiety?" Coco looked scared because she didn't know he could find out so fast, she wanted to run away but the mug noticed her reaction "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! That just came out, I didn't mean to scare you!" She looked relieved a bit after hearing that but was trumbling. Mugman stood out and putted his gloved hand towards her, she looked at him then his hand and took it, they both stood up at the sight of that
Mugman placed a flower crown on Coco. The veins were connected with the fall season, it looked quite beautiful with the color on her, like a match. He folded his hands together, seeming to admire the beauty. He took a deep breath and said "you're beautiful,I'm sure you'll find a lover someday." She looked amused a bit but had a thankful look.
The moment didn't last long when Cuphead ran back in "MUGSY! COCO! THERE'S A PARADE GOING ON! COME ON!"
Mugman and Coco looked at each other then Cuphead and, Mugman started to run towards him after there they went again, running to the crowd. Coco looked up at the flower crown and followed them.
