Yoichi had a problem, he was undeniably and inexplicably in love with his rescuer, just an hour ago he'd been rescued and he'd heard cases where a person fell in love with the person who saved them, but most of the time that was in Disney or books. It wasn't a common occurrence, at least from his knowledge, which wasn't much considering how his brother had always made sure he wasn't learning too much.

His brother hated when he knew too much about anything, thinking it would remove his usefulness in Yoichi's eyes. Regardless of whether that had been the truth, however, the point still stood that he'd had crushes before and he knew this was much much more intense. He hadn't even spoken to the man since he was rescued, he'd taken their hand without asking questions even though they could have been people as worse as his brother. He knew that developing a romantic relationship with someone you've just met was extremely unwise and almost always ended in disaster and heartbreak.

"Hey, Shigaraki-san, are you alright?" His rescuer asked, making Yoichi look up into the man's dark red eyes." You haven't spoken since we got you out of that room, did All For One do something to your voice?"

He shook his head, before biting his lip anxiously.

"You're safe, you know that right?" His second rescuer and the one who'd kept an eye out while his first rescuer had been saving him spoke." Don't worry, we're not gonna let anything happen to you you, we promise."

Yoichi nodded, giving the two a grateful smile, before feeling his asthma act up, he soon started to cough until finally one of them managed to come back with an inhaler, someone they knew must have asthma, he felt bad for whichever person that was. It couldn't be easy fighting in the resistance against his brother with this kind of problem, especially when one couldn't be too strenuous with their activities.

"T-Thank you." Yoichi managed to say once he was over his coughing fit." I was unsure of what to say, I don't mean to be rude."

His first rescuer gave him a reassuring smile, before handing him a blanket, which he took and sent a grateful look back. He had never seen such selfless behavior toward himself, but he couldn't deny it was nice to be taken care of without strings attached, his brother would always make him do things as payment for helping him in any way.

"Are you sure you're ok, being stuck in that room for so long couldn't have allowed you to come out of it completely fine?" His second rescuer said with a concerned expression." You know it's ok to tell us anything right, we won't hold it against you at all, I promise."

Yoichi felt his eyes water, but he fought back the tears, his heart aching at the words they said to him and wishing that it was his brother who was able to say it. Why did his brother have to do this, to hurt him, he had loved his brother and had once considered them his hero, so why did they do this? If he couldn't even trust his brother, could he truth these two rescuers, his heart told him yes but he was admittedly terrified of doing so.

"Five years, I was in there for five years with no contact with anyone besides my brother and he'd only visit on occasion to ask me to join." Yoichi whispered, the weight of the truth lessening as he continued to speak." When I said no, he'd change certain things about my room, when he placed me there it looked like a normal bedroom, but every time I said no he'd take something out, and when there was nothing left to take he began lowering the temperature or drugging my food and water. I stopped eating after that, I couldn't risk the food being drugged, that was a month ago."

He couldn't stop the shivers he gave as he talked, the way fear clawed its way to the surface of his mind, the way he couldn't close his eyes without imagining cruel red eyes. He knew he had started hyperventilating, but he couldn't help it as he gasped for air, until his mind screeched to a halt at the feeling of arms wrapping around him. He was held close and he couldn't help but be entranced by the sound of the man's heart beating under his vest, his own heart picking up pace as his face flushed with embarrassment.

For a long moment, he was just held close and he just let it happen, it felt nice, when was the last time he had contact with someone? Not even his brother hugged him since he'd been thrown into the vault or the room, as it was often referred to.

Part of him realized he was likely touch-starved, but it wasn't like he could help it, even so, he knew he was enjoying the hug more than he probably should. Stupid feelings kept getting in the way of logical thinking, but he really liked having positive feelings about something again. He couldn't remember the last time he had thought of something positive, everything had seemed so dull and lifeless in that vault.

"Relax, Shigaraki, you're not there anymore." His rescuer whispered and Yoichi realized he hadn't given the man his name.

"Y-Yoichi, please call me Yoichi," Yoichi said, his voice wavering slightly as he talked, his emotions still high from remembering his experience in the vault.

"Yoichi. That's a nice name, my name's Nisokudo and my friend is Santou." Nisokudo responded and Yoichi inhaled sharply, his rescuers had names, how fitting they had names with numbers when he did as well." Do you think you can keep down some food, you don't need to starve yourself any more."

He took a deep breath giving a small nod, he could even remember what food tasted like, and he hoped he could keep it down. He knew that eating after going so long without food was hit and miss, but he wanted to try. Nisokudo and Santou stood up, he couldn't follow them, he was on bed rest until he recovered, but he gave a longing look as the two men left to grab him something to eat.

Yoichi couldn't wait until he was able to see the world again, couldn't wait till he could walk around and feel open air against his face. He'd have to thank his heroes, for giving him this chance to be free, even if he suspected it wouldn't last forever.
