One day, as Alex and Michael were out walking, something completely unexpected happened. Alex's dog, who had been trotting along happily at his side, suddenly let out a yelp and started to lift off the ground.
Alex's eyes widened in shock as he watched his dog hover in the air, his legs kicking frantically as he tried to get back down. "Oh my god, what's happening?!" Alex exclaimed, panicked.
Michael looked just as shocked as Alex. "I have no idea," he said. "But we have to do something!"
The two of them rushed over to the floating dog, trying to figure out a way to help him. But no matter what they did, the dog remained suspended in the air, clearly in distress. Alex's heart pounded in his chest as he watched his beloved pet struggling. He couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to him.
Just when they were starting to lose hope, the dog suddenly let out a loud bark and plummeted back to the ground, landing safely in Alex's arms. Alex held him close, tears of relief streaming down his face. "Thank god you're okay," he whispered, relieved.
Michael let out a sigh of relief as well. "That was a close call," he said. "I don't even want to think about what could have happened."
From that day on, Alex and Michael knew that they could never let their guard down. They had no idea what the future held, but they knew that they had to be prepared for anything. They just hoped that one day, the strange floating animals would disappear and things would return to normal. But until then, they would have to keep their eyes open and be ready for anything.
