Pete's POV
"Spark, let's go scout them out," I say to him. I would ask, but I know he would say yes. I can't imagine a day when Spark won't wanna go on a adventure with me, long or short. We trek out. We have to cross a wide valley because they are on the opposite hill to the wizard's town. We honestly wouldn't have noticed them without the torch them were holding. As we began to near them, we draw our daggers. We hear two of them chatting, but there seems to be a third one as well.

"I mean, they look like great designers. Their town looks amazing from here," one of them say, he sounds a bit young.

"I feel like these are going to be nice people," another one says, also a guy but sounding older than the first man. Not much older but just a little more mature.

"Well I sure hope they are friendly. We need a home," the younger guy added, turning to face the older guy he was talking to. Then I realized this wasn't just some normal guy. This was Spark's cousin. I remember him. He had followed his mother on the old village's first trip to the Nether. I thought he had died along with the rest of the crew. But he didn't. He changed. He was now-

"Andrew!!!!" Spark yelled jumping from the bushes we were hiding in.

The third man that hadn't spoken pulled his sword and almost sliced at Spark.

"Stop, Hazel!!!!" Andrew screamed.

"Who is this, Andrew," the second man asked.

"How do you know me?" Andrew asked.

"Because you went through the Nether portal because you were still young and didn't know. We all thought you were dead... Andrew... It's me... Spark," my companion said, a tear rolling down his face.

Andrew didn't reply. He just stared into Spark's watery eyes and then embraced him in his arms. Then I realized I was tearing up. He just found out that he actually did have family alive.

"What happened? How did you survive the Nether? You were only seven I think," Spark questioned.

"We can catch up and reminisce back in the wizard's town. You guys can come," I invited.

-Time skip to when we got back to the wizard's town-

On the walk home, the man that had been conversing with Andrew told us his name was Jasper Stark. Jasper dressed pretty well. He wore dark jeans and a purple shirt with matching converse. He had a silver katana at his side, matching the color of his hair. Hazel didn't say much. She didn't say anything at all. She was a tall, slender woman with dirty blonde hair that hung at her shoulders. She didn't dress too fancy. Only a ripped pair of jeans, a plain black tee, and combat boots. Her skin was tanned with a clean complexion except from a long, thin scar above her eye. Nobody addressed the elephant in the room on the walk back.

"I am Pete, and, if you hadn't noticed yet, this is Spark," I explained, "Now, if you don't mind me asking, Andrew, how are you alive and what exactly happened?"

"Well," he began, "I went through the portal as you know. The portal spawn was in a room of Blaze's. They attacked the adults and killed them and I cried. I cried for I'm not sure how long honestly. To this day I'm not sure why they didn't kill me. But after I stopped they surrounded me and lifted me up. They carried me to a Blaze with red bars floating around it, their leader. They made noises back and forth. After they ceased, they varied my to an area with a pit of lava. I thought they were throwing me in until I didn't drop. I floated above it and the lowered bars around me. Assumingly years passed and over time I've developed the abilities of a blaze."

"What type of abilities?" Spark asked.

" I can fly and conjure fire. But I can only conjure fire in the dark. I believe because of how dark the nether is. But a down side is that I can't touch water with pain." He replied.

"How'd you all meet?" I ask.

"Well I eventually left the nether with consent from the head blaze. The old village was abandoned and their were monsters and purple stuff everywhere. I ventured away from it and found these two fighting purple monsters." Andrew replied.

"Yea! And boy were Hazel and I glad he found us. We couldn't hold them off much longer."

"You all seem tired and it's getting quite late," Tom buts in.

"Yes can we stay?" Hazel asks. Those were the first clear words of hers I've heard. Her voice was beautiful.

"Of course! We'll show you to your rooms."

"Wait!" I stop everyone. They are all staring at me. "You three need to pick a team."
