"how rude of you to leave little delilah," el whispered, crossing her arms as she leaned against the tree, watching mike look up before smiling widely.

"LILAH!" he exclaimed, running up to her as he embraced her in the tightest hug ever.

"hi," she cried softly into his embrace as he sighed, sinking down deeper into her shoulder. "oh my god, it's you. it's you,"

"i know," she gently pecked his cheek and lips. "how dare you leave our delilah."

"it's not my fault i was old!"

she pulled back, faking a huff. "but you're supposed to take care of our delilah! not die on your bed," she looked away as he gently held her. "you're so adorable." he whispered.

she gently began to smile. "she knew though,"

he nodded slowly. "i know... she was watching me, i know."

she smiled so wide at the mention. "i know, she's a smart flower. i heard her too," she gently held mikes hand. "such a smart one,"

"she knew i was gonna find you," mike whispered.

el pouted, tapping mike to show him something. "delilah is sad... i want to make it better,"

"oh no, she's crying," mike whispered as el pouted and frowned deeper. "i'm sending her delilah's. my baby is crying," she turned to mike and shook him. "why did you die!?"

he laughed a little at her cuteness before murmuring. "because we promised we'd see each other in 70 years, lilah. i'm here right on the dot,"

she shook her head. "nu-uh, baby, you're five days early,"

he gave a pointed look. "you're in heaven, what do you know about dates?"

"excuse me, i mark my dates well and i'm proud of it. i know everything i need to! like our delilah's birthday, bella's birthday, maxie's anniversary and birthday and also yours! i know everything i need to,"

he grinned widely, holding her close before kissing her forehead.

"oh, i have another surprise for you," el giggled, pulling mike away by the hand before walking across the grass. "you'll love it,"

"where are we going?" he asked as she dragged him away, opening a wooden door to a small house before letting out a whistle.

mike furrowed his brows as thuds came from the ground and then he gasped at the sight. "bella! oh my god, i have missed you! i thought i'd never see you again!"

she instantly jumped up and down around him like she instantly recognised him and he laughed, giving her a huge pet.

"it's bella," el whispered to him and he laughed. "i know, lilah,"

el bent to bella before tapping her nose. "you missed him, didn't you?"

bella barked, continuing her little exciting jumps.
