Bleeding On The Inside

You never saw,
That I was curled up in a ball.
Hiding from the pain,
I silently begged for it to be taken away.
No one ever asked if I was fine,
And I kept my tears in line.
Never breaking or
Asking for more.
Tell me when you see,
The real me.
I think I lost her somewhere,
While running away like a hare.
Don't cry,
I'm saying goodbye.
Still I'm bleeding on the inside.
