Secert Mask

Hush hush, have a secret to tell.
I'll speak if you listen well.
My heart has guarded this for a while,
Step by step- mile by mile.
You see, it's all fading;
All the while feelings grating.
Nothing to stop it,
So here I cry as I sit.
Can't let anyone know,
Or their worry may grow.
I'll smile since it's called for,
And try not to be sore.
So I'll pretend,
Till the end.
That way no one can worry,
And then they'll survive surely.
I'll do it to protect them,
Until my own end.
