What's worse?

Tell me if you know what hurts,

For pain is what my heart averts.

When your body is numb to the core,

Or when everything around you becomes a bore.

Your brain is screaming at you that you are nothing-

Maybe it's when you go through your entire life bluffing.

Lies spill everytime you open your mouth,

The monsters called people who act couth.

Look into my eyes and tell me your story,

Whether you think it's plain or too gory.

Even when your lips don't move I can see it,

Every move we make tells about us- bit by bit.

Pain surrounds us daily in various forms.

Almost like the tale of Egypt in the Bible, it swarms.

It could simply be our world's curse.

Honestly, do we really ever know what's worse?
