Avengers: Trapped in a comic book

Wake up

Jamie's POV

I woke up in my room on my desk. As I looked around I could see dried blood on my shirt. On the table in front of me was a portfolio and inside the drawings for a comic book. As I looked through it I found that the events over the past year were all a dream. Everything was a dream.

As I got to the end I found the war with Ultron. I found myself saying good bye to tony and I found the funeral tony had put together. I started to read and this is what I found.

1 week later

Tony stood behind the podium looking out at the other avenger, Shield agents, and civilians of New York City, "welcome, I wanted to start by saying thank you for coming. Jamie, my wife, she would be happy to see how many lives she touched... I am too," tony pulled out the paper from his pocket then looked at pepper before reading, "we met under the weirdest of circumstances, and yet, it was love at first site. I know it's a bit corny, but it's true. I met Jamie Buchanan Barnes almost 2 years ago and in that time she changed my life. She gave me a home, and a family. both were things I thought I'd never be able to have. She also showed me another side to the world. One that everyone over looks," tony wiped the tears from his face then continued, "My wife died working to save the world from Ultron, worked to save our daughter from evil. Thanks to her we can live in peace and rebuild the world and make it better." The crowd clapped then tony finished by saying, "There are many things that will be different now, but the one thing that wont be changed is I am Ironman, and I will always be here to protect this world." The crowd clapped as tony walked of the stage and over to pepper then said, "ready to go?" She nodded her head then said, "tony, I think its time." Tony's eyes got wide as he helped pepper to the car then got her to the hospital.

The next morning

Tony walked in to see pepper holding his son, "a boy, but?" Pepper smiled as James got up from the chair, "Tony, I want you to meet your daughter Chloe Rose Stark." Tony smiled and took his daughter into his arms and said, "and my son?" James said, "she wanted you to name him." Tony said, "Adrian Stark." Pepper said, "Adrian and Chloe Rose Stark. Congratulations Tony."

nurse walked in, "oh, I'm sorry." Tony said, "its ok. Go on." The nurse said, "well I wanted to come and congratulate you sir. I heard about what your wife did and about your two new born and wanted to offer any assistance. Your wife, Mrs. Stark, saved my life from one of those robots. If I can help you in anyway," she handed a business card to tony then said, "don't hesitate to call me. I cant even begin to repay the kindness Mrs. Stark has showed me." Tony smiled, "what's your name kid!?" The nurse smiled, "Raleigh Buchanan Barnes, and before you ask, I wasn't related to your wife, although I wish I was," she smiled then said, "I have to go make my rounds. I will be off tonight at 5 and if you need anything just call into the front desk. They'll send me over." Tony smiled then she left. James excused himself then left. Tony looked down at his daughter, "welcome to the world Chloe Rose." Tony sat on the bed next to pepper. She said, "meet Adrian," pepper handed Adrian and then took Chloe. When tony looked at Adrian he opened his eyes to show they were emerald, "hello Adrian, my little man," tony grabbed onto Tony's finger and smiled. Tony smiled back then looked at pepper, "thank you for saying yes." Pepper smiled, "tony, its going to be you and I raising these two. I'm not leaving you. Not again." Tony looked shocked then pepper said, "he's gone. We were attacked while the avengers were off on the other side of the country. He sacrificed himself to save me and our son."

"where is little tony?" Pepper said, "school right now." tony nodded his head, "were moving you back in. You and your son. You've given me so much, it's the least I could do to start." Pepper smiled, "thank you tony." Tony smiled then the two went back to looking at Chloe and Adrian.
