Welcome to the season wrap-up!

Don't worry, I will not be rapping.

I have some compelling news, some impelling news, some repelling news. Which is which? You choose.

Starving artist life has been fun (kidding, chocolate is damned expensive), but I need some stability (and chocolate), and to that end I am converting to a seasonal model.

Podcasting is solitary work. Crickets don't make good company. They do make good snacks. (I promise I won't eat you.)

The story will of course continue, but I've got to eat. Something besides crickets.

And honestly, I need the break. I'll be instituting mandatory hours off every week in which I'll just...do something that's not work or writing. Read a book. Solve a crossword. Rob a bank. Something enriching.

[ahem]

I'll carry on posting the manuscript for now, as I did with the transcripts (if you can't wait, check it out—I'd love feedback). And once I have enough money for production costs, the first novel will be published. And on to book two! Because believe me when I say...you ain't heard nothing yet.

To get things moving, I am planning a giveaway for promoting the story (that is to say, a chance to win vampire-themed goodies), plus potential crowdfunding campaigns for the book and next podcast season, so sign up for the mailing list to receive first news there. Link in the show notes.

And finally, thank you for staying with me, all these waning and waxing moons. I most certainly hope to tell you tales again soon.
