ーIt was a peaceful night, the stars shone brightly and the sound of a waterfall could be heard.
Neytiri was out with her oldest son, he wanted to show her how good he was at catching fish. At first she said no as it was starting to get late but eventually she agreed as her son seemed so excited to show her his skills.
"You're a great fisher Neteyam!" She praised the boy when he shot a fish. He smiled brightly at her and went to grab his catch from the water. However a loud splash made him halt abruptly.
He screamed when he saw what had landed in the water, Neytiri immediately rushed to his side and pushed him behind her.
A girl had been thrown down, her eyes were closed and there was an arrow stuck in her stomach, her blood slowly saturated the small body of water.
Neytiri aimed her bow at a figure moving atop the waterfall, but before she could take aim properly, whoever it was had disappeared.
She fixed her eyes back on the girl, she looked around the same age as her youngest son.
"Mom?"
"Don't look Neteyam! Turn around." Neytiri said to her son, he listened and turned away, scared that whoever shot the girl and threw her down would come for them too.
Neytiri moved trough the water until she reached the girl, she was unconscious but still breathing. Barely.
"Neteyam go get your father!"
。。。
"She has been unconscious for two weeks now!" Mo'at said and motioned Ney'tiri to hand her a bowl.
"Its a miracle that she's alive!" The tsahìk said applying the concoction from the bowl onto the young Na'vi's body.
"Her arrow wound healed abnormally fast, even so the poison should've killed her before you were able to bring her here. I've never seen anything like this before. Not to mention her hair!"
The girl and her strange appearance had been a mystery to the tsahìk from the moment she was brought in. The way she looked was different, yes. But it was the abnormal rate at which her wounds healed that sent her down a rabbit hole.
Her arrow injury only should've been fatal, even without the poison that it was laced with. Nor should her heart have started beating on its own after it had stopped for a moment.
