Chapter 1.: New paths

In the kingdom of mercia King Merik must tell his daughter of the new paths that wait for her.

Princess Aleena: I'm aware that my public isn't as bright as it was when I was younger, but is me marrying someone to get rid of some silly rumors really the best idea.

King Merik: As of now it is, because it's not just about you and Jules sleeping together, there are rumors saying that you're also carrying his child and to keep peace within mercia and ekdin you two must marry. I know that you are close to Jules, but once prince starts being around more I want you to restrain your relationship with Jules.

Princess Aleena: But father—

King Merik: No, prince Jackson is coming here to stay within the next year, if you and Jules stay together him and his brother must leave their posts. Do you understand me?

Princess Aleena: ... Yes, father.

King Merik: You are dismissed.

Unfortunately for King Merik all those rumors were true, even the one about the child. Princess Aleena went to her room to think over her father's words, knowing that it doesn't matter what path she chose the couldn't be together.

Jules: I'm back, with the newspaper and new tools you had asked for.

Charles: ah, thank you dear brother.

Jules: No problem.

Charles: hhhhmmm.

Jules: What does the paper say?

Charles: Their seems to be flash floods happening in the south, due to the dam rotting. The strawberry festival will be delayed, thanks to the flash floods.  And that the princess Aleena has been sleeping with the royal advisers brother. ... Do you know where this is coming from by any chance?

Jules: The paper came from the towns newspaper boy that works at the press.

Charles: I'm being serious Jules, what on möbius have you been doin with the princess for such rumors to pop up.

Jules: Well about a month ago I was hanging out with her and she lead me to bedroom.  After that it's kind of a blur, but she got sick about two weeks after. So I've been getting staying with her, since we're best friends.

Charles: What about the rumors about her carrying your child?

Jules: Those are just rumors, her sickness was just a common cold and nothing more.

Charles: So, you did sleep with her making it possible that she IS carrying your child. ...

Jules: Yes, but—
