Chapter 1: Beasts from the Deep

I get out of bed. Time to start my mission. I glance at Mom's list. The first world is being attacked by some mysterious force. Aren't they all though? I put on the most durable clothes I have. I open up the portal. I'm great at portal casting.

I land in the world. I'm in some forest. It's greener than expected. I turn to a giant fortress. There's a pond full of funny looking fish. It's pretty. It's dangerous- is it? The fortress is probably housing some ancient evil.

I spot a young girl with orange hair, a gold hoodie, violet eyes, and pale skin. Her clothes have star patterns all over. She's trembling. I should have read the file Mom sent me. I have NO idea what's going on in this place. All I know is find the bad guy, kill the bad guy, time hop away.

"What's wrong with this place?" I ask her.

Please don't be evil! Please don't be evil! PLEASE DON'T BE EVIL!

"Someone called Albatross showed up out of literally nowhere! Anyone that tries coming into her palace get's attacked" she replies.

She sounds so scared. I'd be too if this palace showed up out of nowhere. She sounds innocent enough. I swear if she tries to betray me I am leaving this world and letting Vigra solve this problem.

"What happens exactly?" I ask.

She gulps nervously and points to a dirty shed by the palace. Who leaves a dirty shed next to a giant green palace? Like come on- there is a theme, stick with it! I'm starting to sound like Gemma. This is what I get for spending time with Gemma, Vigra, Mirabel, and Violetta instead of Tyler and the guys.

"Albatross's monster comes out of the shed and turns people into fish" she replies.

HOLD UP! I look at all the fish in the pond. THAT'S what happens to her victims! Why did Mom say I have to come here first? Where is Vigra when you need her? I have this girl instead- who is she anyways?

"Who are you?" I ask.

If this girl is going to help me, I need to know her.

"Estella," The girl replies.

Estella, that's a pretty name. It reminds me of the name of Violetta's friend.

"Dom" I introduce.

I step closer to the fortress-palace. A giant monkey-creature with no arms

comes out. WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE GUARDIANS IS THAT THING! The creature has socks and their eyes are the entire rainbow. It's absolutely terrifying. The whole thing looks like it's crawled out of the ocean. The beast is slightly green but mainly pitch black. I've never seen something like THAT in literally any world. It's coming closer! Oh no, oh gosh.

"Run!" Estella exclaims.

I feel something vibrate in my pocket. It's the firecracker ring. Estella is a

hero! I pull the gem out of my pocket. I throw it to her while she's running. The ring floats onto her finger.

"Attack the beast!" I shout.

The monster gets closer and closer. Its eyes are locked on me- unblinking.

This thing is so creepy! I spot someone inside the fortress- it's hard to see. I travel up inside the fortress. I glance out the green tinted window.

"She's doing it!" I exclaim happily.

The gem is always right. Explosions erupt all over the pond. Estella should

meet Xia and Violetta- they'd have so much fun! On second thought- I shouldn't let all the girls in my life that can cause mass destruction be in the same room. It's bad enough dealing with Violetta's destructive nature. I shudder at the thought of that trio ever forming.
