Chapter 13: The game {Dom}

Last world! I forgot the file! All I know is this place seems like a world Uncle V would love. The second I step out the portal everything glitches. I find myself in front of a blue screen- right in front of me is a white arena with black framing around it. Albatross is there.

A glitchy girl with pink hair, black clothes outlined with color, and pale skin with black patches all over. She's the glitch that took all the villains away. She's the Karma Albatross and Crystal were referring too.

"W-w-welcome to my little game! Pick one of your friends to f-f-fight for you, I'll give you 3 chances to get rid of one of m-m-mine" Karma explains.

I look at each of my friends' menus. Estella, Ari, Andrew, AUSTIN, Bianca, and Vigra. Who do I pick?

"Also, w-w-whoever wins a-a-appears next to you behind the b-b-battle screen and becomes unusable" Karma adds.

Stage 1: Beasts from the deep. I have to fight ALBATROSS?!?!

She's the glitch that took all the villains away. She's the Karma Albatross and Crystal were referring too. That's why Albatross is here.

I select Vigra. She's powerful! The 2 fight in a green arena. Vigra dies instantly. Ok, Estella beat Albatross before- she can do it again!

Albatross and Estella start fighting in the green arena. Albatross summons Trina. Estella dodges Trina but gets killed by crows. I try for the last time. Estella lands a hit on Albatross but get's impaled.

Estella appears next to me.

"That was so weird!" Estella exclaims.

I look at the battle screen. Stage 2: Fire and Sun. It's Saffra. I pick Ari.

"Are you sure about this?" Estella asks.

"Positive" I reply.

Ari and Saffra appear in a red arena now. Saffra immediately launches attacks that Ari dodges. Ari hits Saffra when she's weakest. Strategy!

"You 1 shot her!" Estella exclaims.

Ari appears beside me.

"Keep doing what you're doing. It seems to be working" Ari tells me.

I hear Estella and Ari start talking. I didn't want my friends to meet this way but I guess it's ok.

Stage 3: Devilish Darkness. It's Rochelle again. I pick Andrew.

The 2 appear in a black arena. Andrew tries corrupting Rochelle. Rochelle breaks his arm. I try again. Andrew tries slicing Rochelle. Rochell dodges and chops off his head. I try for the last time. The 2 end up dropping their weapons and get into a fist fight. Rochelle strikes the final blow that kills Andrew.

"What was THAT?" He exclaims.

"Sorry bro" I tell him.

"We're in a video game," Ari informs him.

Stage 4: Bloody past. Holy crap it's Kalipso! I select AUSTIN. AUSTIN blasts Kalipso with his lasers and bullets. How did I nearly drown again?

"Did that robot just nuke someone?" Andrew asks.

"You have a robot?" Estella asks.

AUSTIN appears next to me. His eyes are loading again. He stares at Estella, Ari, and Andrew.

"My systems has been updated with the help of Xia and Violetta" AUSTIN says.

Of course they did that. I don't know Xia that well but Violetta tinkered a lot as a child. I see she still has that ability. I'm scared.

The game glitches a bit.

"Well I'm Andrew and if you touch me you'll die" Andrew introduces.

"I'm Ari, if you try to attack me you'll die" Ari introduces.

"I'm Estella and I don't want to die," Estella introduces.

"I'm AUSTIN and I cannot die for I am a robot" AUSTIN introduces.

The game is normal again. That was a weird glitch. Stage 5: Music queen. I select Vigra without a second thought. The 2 enter a purple arena. I don't hear any sound from either of them.

"Why can't I hear them?" I ask.

"I-I-It's the o-o-only way for the b-b-battle to be fair. I-I-If you can hear then you won't be in top c-c-condition for my s-s-special stage" Karma replies glitchily.

Vigra uses her claws to scratch up Music Queen's legs. VICTORY!

"That was great sis!" I exclaim.

Vigra turns to the group and smiles cheekily.

"Wassup gang! Wanna hear about some dirt on Dom?" Vigra asks.

They all nod except for AUSTIN. I HATE HER!!!

Stage 6: Checkmate. Crystal shard is back. Last person available to use- Bianca Diamond. The 2 appear in a black and white arena. They play a chess game.

"This is going to take a while," Vigra sighs.

"I got a card game!" Estella declares.

"Where did you get that?" I ask.

"I've had it with me for a while," Estella replies.

"How did you play it when you were alone for so long?" I ask.

"I played with frogs," Estella replies.

The group gathers in a circle. Estella deals the cards. We all start playing quietly.

"REVERSE!" Vigra declares.

She slams the card onto the deck in the center.

"REVERSE REVERSE!" Ari snaps.

She slams down another card. The 2 keep on placing uno reverses. Estella and Andrew keep glaring at them, awaiting their turn.

"GUESS WHAT- IT'S MY TURN AND I LIE DOWN ANOTHER REVERSE!" Vigra shouts.

She laughs evilly. We all sigh. Bianca appears.

"I see you've been playing peasant games" Bianca sighs.

"Did you win?" I ask.

Bianca shakes her head. Crystal, Rochelle, and Albatross won but Ari, AUSTIN, and Vigra won. It's a tie!

I disappear. Final stage: Game Over.

Karma is in front of me in a glitchy place.

"GAME OVER!" Karma declares.

She laughs glitchily. She charges at me. I start running away. Karma glitches in front of me. I go left. I spot a large glitchy hole. I run at it. I freeze in front of it.

"Out o-o-of bounds~" Karma tells me.

I hear the hum of glitches come closer. I use my watch to escape. Karma appears beside me. I time hop away, she comes back. It's no use! I'm going to run out of energy soon!

"Face it, so-o-on your wa-a-atch will be MINE!" Karma says.

A heavenly light appears. It shines directly onto Karma.

"No! No! No! YOU C-C-CAN'T HEL-L-LP HIM CHE-E-EAT! THIS WAS MY PER-R-RFECT VICTORY!" Karma roars.

Karma vanishes in one big glitch. My surroundings begin to glitch away. I appear beside my friends. We're all at my home. Mirabel, Tyler, and Violetta are sitting by the foyer.

"Your home!" Mirabel says happily.

Violetta glares at my friends. She shifts her gaze to AUSTIN.

"So THAT is why me and Xia lost AUSTIN- you took him!" Violetta snaps.

"Not exactly," I reply.

"We have a long story to tell" Vigra sighs.

"You do know when you left we had no means of spying on Dom" Tyler reminds us.

"Just quiet down, bring all our friends- we'll tell you everything" I tell them.
