Today the only scene we have to film is the one where Finney and Layla go back to school
"You ready to be done?" Maddy asks me while in the hair and makeup trailer. Only Finney, the 'bullies' and I were needed on set today. But everyone else in the cast came, cause it was the last day of course.
"No, I really don't want to leave. But I have to film The Summer I Turned Pretty, so what choice do I have" I say while Becky does my makeup. Once on set Mason comes up to me
"Hey pretty girl, Scott wants us on our marks" He informs me
"Okay, let's get this over with" I say sadly. I walked into the science room while Mason went outside some double doors
"ACTION!"
-----In Scene (3rd person POV)-----
Finney opens the doors to the school. A bunch of kids whisper and gossip about him as he walks by. For the first time ever his bullies didn't try to chase him, they kinda looked a bit scared of him. He makes his way into his first hour classroom, Science. He takes a seat next to Layla
"Hi Finney" Layla says looking over at him
"You can call me Finn ya know" He says thinking about all the times she called him 'Finn' while in the basement
"Yeah I know" She responds with a small smile on her face
-----End Scene-----
"CUT!" Scott yells
"It's over" I say quietly
"What's that?" Mason asks not hearing what I said
"It's over, like we have nothing else to film" I explain
"Hey, just because the movie is done filming doesn't mean everything's over. We'll still all hang out and call and text. You and I aren't just breaking up because the movie's over. Everything will be okay" Mason says quietly. I can't help but tear up a little cause of what he says. All the kids cast comes running over and pulls us into a group hug.
-----Time Jump-----
"Bye Becca, love you" I hug Becca as she gets ready to leave
"Bye Cass, I love you to" She responds and walks to her car
"Cassie"Maddy yells running over to me "You're coming back for the premier. Right?"
"Yeah why?" I ask
"Cause I thought it would be fun for you, me, and Becca to all get ready together" She quickly says still trying to catch her breath
"Oh yeah. That would be awesome. Don't tell anyone but I am coming back June 22, and staying for a week after the premier" I inform her quietly
"Really?!" She yells. I nod my head excitedly "YAY! That's awesome. I can't wait" I car horn sounded and we both looked over, "I have to go but I can't wait. Love you Cassie" Maddy said hugging me one last time
"Love you Mads" I wave and she runs to her car. From behind someone wraps an arm around my shoulders
"Hey pretty girl, ready to go?" I look up and Mason is already looking down at me
"Honestly no. This is the most fun I have ever had on set and I don't want to leave" I tell him
"Hey, remember what I said earlier. Nothing's gonna change" He tells me
"Except for the fact that I'm leaving and won't be back for a month" I sigh
"Yeah, that part is gonna suck, but we can still call and text all the time." Mason says and I nod
"Thank you Mason"
"For what? I didn't do anything" He asks
"You have helped me more than you can know" I tell him
"Well as your boyfriend isn't that my job?" He asks lightly laughing at the end
"Okay fair enough. But now we have to get back to the hotel cause you and I have to pack" I tell him pulling him to JJ's car
"I don't have to pack" He tells me confused
"You have to help me pack" I say and we both laugh
