Eyes speak volumes that a dictionary could never show
Behind them lie stories that some will never know
Your first kiss
The times you'd crumble
When the tides were so high you thought you'd never arise
When you picked the shards of betrayal out of your skin
And kept walking hiding it within
When your heart broke into a million pieces
And you were left with 100,000 pieces you could never connect
When you silenced your tears and showed a smile
One people could see for miles
But behind it, your eyes kept it all
Speaking volumes that would never be heard
So in the end, aren't we all just individuals with a partnership through our eyes?
One that speaks volumes the dictionary could never describe
