The day progresses and has only gotten worse. Your mother keeps mumbling things about your past, venting about you to bailey, Justin, or Ellie, As if this day couldn't get any worse.

You're currently putting everything away. Everything is in your room so it's kind of a disaster- it's a disaster.

All of your posters and tapestries are hung up, your bed is made and on top of it are piles and piles of your shit thrown into boxes. you stare at the mountain of boxes on your bed before huffing in defeat, grabbing them one by one, and piling them in your closet. You practically slam the door behind you, stepping over the piles of clothes scattered on your floor and flopping on your bed.

Out of sight, out of mind.

You lay in bed, groaning when you feel dirt all over your comforter from the boxes being set outside. When you placed them on your bed, some dirt must've stuck to the bottom of some. You angrily wipe it away, having the dirt fly off your bed and onto your clean clothes scattered on the floor.

You lay back down, looking up at your ceiling that is covered with tapestries, you pull a blanket over you, snuggling into your pillow beside you, and shut your eyes.

"Y/n! Y/n," you hear Bailey yell as she approaches your room. You groan, trying to ignore her excited screams as she barges into your room.

You keep your eyes shut, pretending as if you were sleeping so she'd leave, you don't want to talk to anyone right now. Not even your sister.

"Y/n? It's not even dark out yet, come on, get up."

"Go away," you whisper, keeping your eyes sealed shut as your body faces the wall.

"Are you okay? Are you mad about mom still-"

"Bailey. Just- please. Go away. I want to be alone right now, I'm tired."

she stands there for a minute before leaving your room without saying another word.

you sigh, opening your eyes you check if she shut your door, and she did. you lay back down staring at the wall.

Your stomach growls and you internally roll your eyes, rolling over and shutting your eyes, falling asleep.

-

You wake up and look out your window to see that it's pitch black outside. you crawl out of bed, creaking open your door and see Ellie and your mom drinking wine in the kitchen, about a foot away from your door.

I hate how small this house is.

You're about to walk back into your room when Ellie's eyes meet yours. She gives you a light smile, motioning for you to come over.

You hesitantly walk out of your room, shutting the door behind you. You walk into the small kitchen, leaning up against the table while your mother simply talks to you as if the argument earlier never even happened.

You stand up straight and walk further into the kitchen to grab a cup, you then fill it up with water, taking small sips while you stare at the water dispenser.

"Darling?"

You turn your head, looking at Ellie to see her staring at you with a worried expression on her face while your mom starts making dinner.
