How I Found You

Chapter 6

"Aren't you going to recite the Quran?",he asked her while folding the prayer mat and she looked at him with a surprised look.
"Hmm,I will"    "Umm Azka,can I be here when you're reciting?(She was once again giving that questionable look so he started explaining)Actually I'm thinking of starting to learn Quran and I'll start from tomorrow In Sha Allah,so you know I can't read now but if you recite then.... I'll be able to hear",he told with hesitation, he knew he could have found recitation in YouTube also but the way Azka's voice calmed down his restlessness he couldn't think of anything else.
"Sure,no problem and if you need any help please do tell me",she replied.

"I can't recognize him now,this much change even before some days he wasn't like this,what happened all of a sudden,yeah it's all Allah's wish,He gives guidance to whoever He wants",she thought while lying on bed just After Azlan left the room.

He was sleeping so peacefully after years as if his heart has found that missing piece which it was searching for years.

In the morning....

"Okay,I'm coming,just take a look at him till I'm there",she was in a hurry as there came a call from the hospital as there was an emergency and there was shortage of doctors.

"Samra please do take care of aunty,I'll try to come back as soon as I can",she said before leaving,she didn't inform aunty as she was sleeping.

She was leaving in a hurry that didn't realize that Azlan was coming that way while talking with someone on the phone and bumped into him.
"So sorry,I didn't see you"    "I'm sorry in fact actually I was on my phone,wait (he said in a lower voice in call) I'll call you later",he then realized that Azka was going somewhere.

"Are you going somewhere?"   "Yeah there's an emergency and I have to leave for the hospital,I was going to inform you in fact while leaving"    "No no it's completely okay but how are you going?"    "I'll take taxi"   "Why?Come with me,I'll drop you"   "It's not needed actually"    "I'm also leaving so you can come,please",she nodded.

When they reached the hospital,Azlan found that same boy,Zain standing at the entrance and as soon as he found Azka entering,he went to her and started talking though Azlan found Azka to ignore him and going inwards.

"Hopefully we'll get the project Sir"   "In Sha Allah, be prepared for the next and final meeting cause that's when the decision will be made,as the project is somehow unique and critical I don't think they'll decide in a quick basis",Azlan replied while working on his laptop.

"She needs to be in observation,I don't think otherwise we can decide anything",Azka was discussing with
her fellow doctor,"I so wish doctor Umar was here"    "Yeah,if he was here, then everything would have been rather more easy but In Sha Allah we'll handle it",Azka said with a smile.

"Zain,do you think this is the right place to discuss about this matter? We've got a serious patient here,be professional"    "Only for you I've joined this hospital Azka"    "Did I ask you?Please Zain I've to focus on my patient,excuse me",she left where he was becoming more and more irritated.

It was already 8 at night and Azlaan got a call from aunty,"Assalamu A'laikum Mom"    "Wa'alaikumussalam,Azlaan you're going to pick Azka right?"    "Azka?She's not at home yet?",he said while looking at the time,"No,she has some emergency,do talk with her,okay"    "Hmm,don't worry,I'll talk,you've taken your medicines right?"    "Yeah yeah,Azka instructed Samra perfectly,don't worry"    "Okay Mom,Allah Hafiz",he put the phone and got lost in his thoughts.

The whole day's pressure was causing her not to keep her eyes opened anymore but the tension she had regarding her patient it was of another pressure,she was praying continuously so that the patient start responding to the medicine then she got a call and by seeing the name all her sleep got vanished cause she wasn't expecting his call.

"No I'll manage,you don't need to actually"    "It's okay,tell me the time"    "This is the problem,I don't know the exact time so it'll be better if you don't bother to come,I'll manage and I'll talk with aunty so she doesn't worry"

"Doctor Azka,you can take some rest as we don't have anything in our hand"    "I hope she'll be alright",they were walking in the corridor,"Isn't he your husband?",Azka looked at the direction and found Azlaan coming towards,"I'll go for the round",saying this the fellow doctor left.

"You're here?"    "Mom won't spare me if I go alone",he smiled slightly,"How's your patient?"     "Umm,praying for her,let's see what happens,just hope she starts responding to the medicines"    "What are the senior doctors saying?"     "This is the problem,senior doctors are absent"   "Doctor Umar?"    "Sir is out of the town",she was giving him direction towards her room.

"But Azlaan Saab,I can't tell till when I'll be done,how long will you wait?"   "It won't be a problem",he sat in the chair and that is when the fellow doctor came,"Doctor Azka,patient has started responding",a bright smile came in Azka's face which make Azlaan to have a slight smile as well.
