Chapter 3

- time skip-

After they went over the plan, and they successfully burned down the house of the most famous business man and drug trafficker Sky Howler. The man was also a person who took advantage of the lower class people especially people that had animal traits and people that had magical powers, like fairy's, elf's and other magical creatures. " I'm going home, be here tomorrow okay guys?" Nicky says the other guys nodded, AJ was going to call a taxi to take him home, but was stopped by Nicky " hey JJ I'll take you home" " no, no I'm fine I'll just call a taxi" AJ replies " no I insist" " okay fine" AJ tells him.

-time skip-

" dad I'm home" AJ calls out to his dad " oh hi AJ how was class?" " it was fine, it was a bit confusing though but I got one of my classmates to explain it to me" AJ replies " that's good, hey your cousin Emalie ( A/N: pronounced Emily) is here today to see you, she is up in your room" "okay thanks I'm going to go see her" AJ went up to his room, and went inside. "AJ hey" Emalie said " hey Emalie how are you doing haven't seen you since I recently moved back from overseas" AJ asks, " I'm doing good, I go to the same school as JJ so I usually see him at school, and yeah so nice to see you too" " that's good hey where to you live now since you go to the same school as my brother?" AJ replies. " I live near the school in a apartment with my roomie, she's so cute and so funny, and she's also my best friend" Emalie said smiling happily, " that's good to hear, hey um have you told her your sexuality yet?" Emalie looks at AJ a happy look on her face " yeah, and she supports me so we're good, I unfortunately have a crush on her" " oh, I'm glad for you, does she know you have a crush on her?" AJ asks Emalie, " yeah she knows, but that's not the problem" AJ looks at her confused " then what is?" " she's human, we both like each other, but you know the prejudice some humans have with people that are not human" AJ looks at her saddened " yeah unfortunately, but hey don't let that stop you from being together" AJ says encouragingly Emalie smiles at AJ " yeah you're right, but I'm worried about us humans have killed other humans just because they have a relationship with someone that isn't human before" " yep" AJ says " hey I've got to get back my roomies going to be back in a few hours she went grocery shopping, before I came over here to visit you and uncle, bye see you when I have free time" Emalie says getting off the bed and went downstairs leaving.

After a few hours AJ went downstairs to talk to his dad " hey dad" AJ says going to the living room seeing his dad on the couch watching the tv " yeah AJ what happened?" AJ sits down on the couch " nothing happened but I do have a question, what happened to my aunt and uncle?" AJs dad looks at him with a sad face " why do you want to know?" " because ever since I was a moved overseas I never heard from them" " oh well you see your uncle and aunt were killed a few days after your cousin Emalie was born" AJs dad said with tears in his eyes. " What? How?" AJ gasped " because humans and creatures aren't allowed to be together, and my sister and her husband were found in their house dead once I got there" his father said as tears streamed down his face, choking back sobs. " wait so you mean to tell me that my cousin is half human!" AJ says shocked, his father nods in sadness. " please don't tell Emalie that, I want to tell her about what happened to her parents" AJ nods in agreement.

After a few minutes have passed since the conversation AJ had with his dad, it was nighttime so everyone was asleep. Well not everyone AJ lied in bed his eyes open, he turns his head to the side, ' there has to be a way for me to get more information about what happened to my brother, but how can I do that?' AJ thought to himself.
