I am sitting on the Computer searching for any clues around the Empire State Building.Then J'ohn came and sat behind me.
-Have you discovered any clues? he asked.
-No.There are no reports of anything unusual between the harbor and the Empire State Building.
-Perhaps there are no clues, because she left voluntarily.
-She was running late. She probably flew from the jet.
It had to be something of significant power to take her in mid-flight, without anyone noticing. Of course, with any investigation one must consider motive. Who would want to capture or eliminate Wonder Woman?
-Could it be one of your enemies?
-Unlikely. If they knew about Diana and I, they would have contacted me by now. They are all about revenge. It has to be one of her enemies. Who would want revenge? Or who would consider Wonder Woman a threat? Whom did she defeat nearly single-handedly? There's still too many possibilities. Under what circumstances is your telepathy blocked,J'ohn?
-Magic can disrupt it....
-Could be the sorceress Circe.But changing people into animals is more her style. Also, could be the sorceress Morgaine Le Faye.
But she wouldn't consider Wonder Woman a threat. What other circumstances?
-Shield can block it, and certain locations deep underground. This is getting nowhere. There is still too many possibilities. I have to think.
