Bruce's POV

I was in my room in the Watchtower preparing for my date with Diana when I got a telepathic call from J'ohn.
-Batman, please come to my room. We need to talk, he told me and his voice showed that he didn't accept any objections.
-I will be there in ten minutes, I told and starting removing my trousers and shirt to put on my uniform again.
I was in J'ohn's room, as I told, in ten minutes.
-What is it, J'ohn? I asked stoically.
-I have been checking on Hera, he answered with similar stoicism like mine.....
-Yes. And? I asked a little bit impatiently.
-She has a bad track record. Based on her history, I would describe her as a cruel, vindictive and extremely jealous meta human..... he explained with concern.
She has changed numerous of her enemies into animals and...
-Your point? I interrupted him boted of his verbalisation.
He sighed and answered slowly and silently.
-There is a great risk that you and Diana... will be in danger if you pursue your relationship.
I thought how right were my words when I told Diana that J'ohn is like a father..... his concern was so big and his love for us so unconditional that he was like father and something more.
-I know, J'ohn. And that kept me from acring on it for so long.... But then, Diana admitted to me that she knew there will always be danger. But to her, the thing that was important, was whether we face it... together. I appreciate your concern. But if she is willing to face the danger...... then so am I, I answered him seriously and left the room.......
But I heard him telling something behind me......
-I do hope that you find the happiness you seek, my friend. I could sense his compassionate smile............
A smirk escaped my lips. I rushed to my room to prepare for my date with Diana again.....
I should be in front of the Empire State Building at 7 o' clock.......
The time is half past six. I should hurry up to be there in time........
