I wake up to see my daughter Lyrica looking at me wide eyed and bushy tailed.

Me: Hi baby

Lyrica: Morning mommy

I then rubbed my eyes and looked at my alarm clock. Ah shit. I'm late for work. I gotta drop off my daughter to mama house then I gotta drive to work. Could dis day get any worse.

In the car.......

Me and Lyrica are almost to my mama's house.

Lyrica: Mommy why you always workin

I looked at her for a second and smiled.

Me: Cause if I didn't we would be livin in a box down da street

Lyrica looked at me and started laughing. I mean I guess I am doing pretty good for myself. I work at ausic industry. I get paid every week. I still get to see my daughter everyday after work and I also got the best boss every he's really chill. Hakeem Lyon.

We pulled into the driveway and my mom wasn't here. Where the hell she at? Now I don't know what I am going to do with Lyrica.

I guess I gotta take this baby to work with me.

At work:

I have just arrived at work and boy us today a busy day.

Me: Morning Malcolm

Malcolm: Good morning Kayshia, and who might this beautiful girl be

Me: Oh this is my daughter Lyrica

Malcolm: Hi Lyrica, welcome to the Empire

Lyrica waved at Malcolm good bye.

Just then I saw my boss, Hakeem.

Me: Mr. Lyon I kind of had a family emergency and I had to bring my daughter in

Hakeem: Oh, this is Lyrica, your such a pretty lil girl

He then scooped her in his arm and started to swing her around. She began to laugh.

Me: You seem very well with her

Lyrica then gets put his arms and comes to me.

Lyrica: Mommy is this your boyfriend

Me: No baby this isy boss he is the person who gave me this amazing job

Hakeem: Lyrica you want me to be your mommy's boyfriend

She nodded her head.

Lyrica: Mommy what do you say

Hakeem: Ya Kayshia what do you say

I looked at the two of them together and I smiled. I like this. I like it a lot.

Me: I love that idea
