"Put me down!" Yelled Jack.

He was floating three feet above the ground. Cooper had recently found a voodoo poppet and had tag locked it to Jack. Ever since then, he never left it alone.

"Cooper for goodness sake, put me down!" Jack yelled again.

"Cooper, just put him down!" Laughed John.

"Why?" He asked.

"Why? Because it can hurt someone that's why!" John was beggining to get annoyed.

"Have I ever done anything bad to him?" Cooper replied.

Jack face palmed in annoyance.

"Cooper, just and hour ago I caught you attempting to throw it into the river!" John laughed, "half an hour before that you were dropping it off the top bunk!"

Jack winced in pain, "I still have splinters from the floor boards."

Cooper put the doll down. He laughed and pulled a funny face at John. John gave the same face back and left his two friends to make up.

Wandering outside John couldn't help noticing underneath their house were two stone statues. John wandered over to them. Suddenly, they sprang to life and held out two big stone swords blocking his way to a wall on the mountain.

"Ok gosh, I'm sorry I came close to a wall, actually, why are you even guarding it, it's nothing special!" John retorted.

The guards pointed their swords at John, one on either side of his neck. John gulped.

The wall of stone opened to reveal Finn. Finn was a friend that they encounter on their journey to the light Mages castle. Finn had been fighting with a mysterious Mage.

The Mage was a time Mage, there was only one in the the world. Time Mages have the ability to stop time and even travel back in time. Along with the time Mage called Archer, Finn came to join their team. Finn is an earth Mage. Meaning he controls rock and stone.

Finn has black hair and blue eyes. He's usually calm but in the heat of battle, he's a sociopath. He's extremely clever.

This must be where he plans on sleeping.

"Men," Finn looked at both of the rock statues.

"At ease, I don't want to see you doing that to our friend again!" John gave an awkward smile as the two guards drew their swords back to their side.

Finn put his arm around John and walked through the doorway.

"You like it?" Asked Finn, his hand waved across the room.

There was a huge double sized bed Made of stone, luckily it had a mattress and cushions. To the right of the bed was a bookcase with several books John had once read. Harry Potter was one of them along with a few books Finn had written himself. To the left of the bed was a bed side table. On it was a lamp and a painting of a group of people. John sat down on the bed to look at the painting.

There were two adults, and two children.

"My family," Finn sat down next to John and looked at the painting as well.

John suddenly felt sad.

"What happened to them?" He asked, not really wanting to know the answer.

Finn just sighed and replied, "my parents were killed by dark Mages when I was only six, they were defending us."

Pushing the feelings aside, John remembered the book he had brought with him.

"Here," John handed Finn the book, "you like reading so I figured you could read my book."

Finn lifted one eyebrow.

"Thanks," he replied, "what's it about?"

"The usual, gods, pirates, things like that," laughed John.

After saying goodbye, John left the room. He awkwardly wandered past the guards.

"At ease men," he stated, his voice shaking as he remembered the swords at his neck.

The guards stared blankly at him. John kept on walking and went to bed.
