Chapter 5

The training room doors hurtled open as John ran as fast as he could into the room.

"Train as hard as you can all of you, you'll need as much skills as you can muster!" John yelled.

Every one turned to face John confused.

"What? John what's wrong?" Cooper ran over.

"I'm not sure, Archer warned me something was coming, I don't like the strange feeling I have..."

"It's probably nothing, you know how Archer plays jokes on us!" Jack laughed.

"No, I don't think he was joking!"

"How do you know?"

"H-he was very serious... It was as if all that arrogance was gone as he warned me..."

It didn't look like anyone believed him. This couldn't be good. But then it happened....

There was a knock on the door outside, and a mans voice.

"Cmon, let us in... We're waiting!"

Then there was a crash as they knocked the door down. This wasn't good. Everyone froze suddenly believing what John had told them. It looked as if someone had broken in. Everyone nodded at each other as if in silent agreement. They ran out to where the noise had come from.

John just assumed it would just be a couple of rogue mages. But his heart sank as he saw four dark mages, standing in their house.

"Greetings John, it feels great to see you!" The man at the head spoke.

How does everyone know my name?

"You're probably wondering how I know your name?"

John nodded in fear.

"Well... Let's just say..." The man paused...

"I cannot reveal my sources!"

John's heart stopped as he suddenly realised who this was.

Why are they here?!

"Revenge, that is why we're here..."

"Revenge for what exactly?"

"Oh John... Don't bother pretending... You know the answer to that!" The man lowered his hood.

John froze seeing the mans twisted face for the first time in at least a year.

How?! How could he POSSIBLY SURVIVE?! HE DIED! I SAW HIM DIE!

John's mind screamed as he saw, standing before him was...
