HAVING ACTS OF SERVICE AS YOUR MOST PROMINENT LOVE LANGUAGE HAS IT'S UPS AND DOWNS. It means that I love to put my time and energy into people I care about without necessarily needing anything in return.

Regardless the things I do for my friends could be appreciated more often. Not only did I help Vernon with this semester's time management plan during lunch break, accompanied Erica to the meeting with Principle Thomas to reiterate the importance of Student of Color of Association in my free period.

But now I am also walking on a muddy lacrosse field with my new boots to cheer on Danny at try-outs, with a sign for support he had hinted at wanting in ━ every single one of ━ the letters he sent over the summer, "Ugh, this is going to be such a pain to clean." I mumble to myself in annoyance.

"True, but you can at least look at my cute butt." a voice suddenly says. Making my heart jump in my throat, I turned around only to see Danny and Jackson. Smacking his shoulder, "You have a flat ass, no one is looking at that." I tell him, not happy with the small heart attack he gave me.

Hand over his heart, "That really hurts, Tabitha." He pouts in fake hurt, "Good, it's supposed to. You almost gave me a heart attack." I say rolling my eyes at his dramatics.

Making him to lightly smack me back. Jaw falling slack at the action, slapping him back harder. That is how it started as he keeps slapping me for every slap I returned.

As the two of us completely ignore Jackson his stare and the weird looks that the people passing the three of you.

"They try out every year and never get chosen."

"We are sophomores, it's their second time." I tell him, finally getting the last hit in before rubbing my now sore arm.

Making the blond scuff, "And they won't make it. The earlier they realize that the better. That way they can stop wasting everyone's time." Jackson spoke, watching over the nervous students standing in life to try out for their 'dream', or just an extracurricular, who's to tell?
