THE NOTT FAMILY...
The Notts' are apart of the 28 bloodlines. A selected group of pureblood families, that were truly pure. It was created in the 1930s yet it seemed even after forty odd years the families that remained in the tight knit circle still remained in the time it was created.
The Nott family was strict, dark. Some say borderline abusive, and by some that would be esmerelda nott, the youngest child to alaster and natalia nott. They had two heirs, Esmeralda and Casper. Yhey were not children, merely mini-me's to the parents and they would raise them to be absolutely pristine, the perfect pair.
When Casper was eleven, he had received his letter for hogwarts — with Esmeralda being only nine the root of her abandonment issues had took place. Her only out from the monstrosity she had to deal with at home got to leave for a large portion of the year and Esme was left with the butt end.
Soon after Casper had first left, the Notts and Blacks had begun mixing their children in an attempt to pursue other options but Sirius was too child like and Regulus was too young. Although the parents orginal plan did not work, a friendship had been created between the children — each finding a new escape in each other yet that changed. Sirius and Esme received their invitation yet Esme had not forgotten young Regulus like her brother did her.
She wrote every day, and although she had been sorted into slytherin immediately and Sirius gryffindor — they still managed to talk every one and a while. The pair had lost contact at fifteen, when Sirius had run away to the Potter residence and Esmeralda was forced to cut all ties with the 'blood traitor' . Casper had left home around the same time, marrying a woman and although he wrote and invited her to visit, she rarely saw him — so Esme and Reggie only had eachother in any regards to family.
