OHSHC: Episode 16

Konoka's POV

As I head down to the main room where everyone else is. I hear a familiar voice. "Haruhi Fujioka?" the voice asks. I freeze at the base of the stairs.

"Hey Arai" Haruhi says.

"Arai!" I cheer and run over. Giving my best friend a hug. "I've missed you" I tell him happily.

"Missed you to Konoka" he states returning the hug. Before we pull away. "So these your and Haruhi's new friends?" he asks me.

"Yep, Mori-senpai and Huni-senpai" I say introducing them.

"These two are my classmates at high school, Hikaru and Kaoru" Haruhi adds.

"Your class mates?" he asks confused.

"Oh I went up a grade, due to this" I say pointing to my head. He chuckles.

"Not surprised" he states. Tamaki looks at Haruhi pointing to himself.

"This is an aquitence of mine" Haruhi tells Arai pointing at Tamaki. Who goes into his sad corner as I laugh.

"Don't mind Tamaki senpai, he does that a lot" I tell Arai. "He's one of my class mates and Kyoya-senpai is my other class mate. But he's not here yet" I explain. "Lets sit down and catch up" I suggest and they both agree.

"We haven't seen each other since middle school graduation" Haruhi states.

"True" I agree.

"You cut your hair. That's such a shame" Arai tells her.

"I told her the same thing when she did it" I giggle.

"I don't think so. Since I cut it, it's been easier to manage" Haruhi tells us.

"How is Ouran treating you both? Have you kept in contact with anyone from middle school?" Arai asks us.

"Yeah a little" Haruhi states.

"Kazumi calls her a lot" I tell him. "I haven't really seen anyone since graduation, been very busy" I admit sheepishly.

"Your head was always in the clouds" he chuckles.

"Hey!" I exclaim and shove him. We all laugh.

"So how did you meet the guys?" he asks us.

"We're in a club together" Haruhi and I say together.

"You say these people are in the same club as you. What's the club?" he asks curious.

"It's a host club" I tell him.

"Oh, is that so?" he asks.

"Hey Haruhi, Konoka. Shouldn't you both be working?!" Hikaru shouts waving his emtpy glass. "You both shouldn't be slacking off" he states.

"Mizizu said we could take a break" Haruhi tells him.

"I'll get him a new glass, hope to talk to you later Arai" I state. I head to the bar. I serve Hikaru a new glass of juice as Haruhi tells Tamaki off for making a mess.

"Who knew you Ouran guys were so funny?" Arai says with a laugh. "It's such an elite school, I imagined a different world" he states.

"It's a different world alright" Haruhi states as I wipe down the bar.

"I was worried about you both, thought you'd have a hard time going to such an elite school" Arai states.

"Was a little choatic at first, but we've settled in fine" I assure.

"I'm glad to see you both are doing well" he states. He blushes faintly as Haruhi smiles. "I mean, I wasn't the only one worried about you both. Everyone was" he adds.
