Shehryar was... intrigued. He had always been a curious man, told so by many who knew him, and now his curiosity had been piqued, about a certain girl.

Unfortunately, he couldn't find the damsel anywhere in the house.

And the fact that he'd put more effort in trying to be subtle about looking for her than actually searching didn't help him either.

So, he willed his wild thoughts to settle and picked up the cup of tea in front of him. "Yeh chai aapne banayi hai?" He softly asked the girl who crouched down beside the table across from him. He'd come to learn that she was the maid here, and the walking aid of Fariya most times.

*"Have you made this tea?"

He only had concern with the latter, though.

She appeared to be flustered as she looked up at him when he questioned her and dipped her head once before looking back down at the cup in her hand to mix the sugar well into it and hand it over to his mother. His mother who eyed him with narrowed eyes, full of suspicion.

Of course. He had absolutely no business talking to this girl.

"Achi hai." He complimented sincerely. Though he had an ulterior motive behind complimenting the tea, the tea really was good.

*"It's good."

Maliha's eyes widened comically at the unexpected compliment. She had expected a complaint, not a compliment, especially not from a twenty-something, young, good-looking man. It was safe to say that Maliha had a few harmless fantasies stirring in her head now.

She mumbled a 'thank you' to him as she passed him on the couch and scurried off to the kitchen in attempt to be as away from him as possible. She busied herself with the dirty dishes to distract herself as she mentally chastised herself for wanting to squeal in happiness just because he'd complimented the tea she'd made. She was acting more like he'd written essays about her beauty.

Minutes later, Shehryar was back in the kitchen, having followed Maliha here. He leaned against the counter a good distance away from her.

"Sunein." He passed her a charming smile when she looked at him and her face instantly flushed once again.

*"Listen."

"J-Jee?" She squeaked out, sounding more like a rubber duck than an actual girl.

*"Y-Yes?"

Now, he was no stranger to the effect he had on most girls. But he felt slightly bad that she'd been swept away from his charm too when he had did it all to know the whereabouts of another girl. It didn't deter him though.
