Shades of dark and light flash by
Their fingers intertwined
They have no need to whisper
As their words are pure and fine.They laugh and cry in joy
But also in anguish and pain
Yet those around don't stare
For they are just the same.The dark and light are like magnets;
They are both attracted when near
They are like young children in love;
Innocent and free, not full of fearThe dark and light don't judge
And they love their surroundings
They know that we are all the same
As all our hearts are pounding.They love the echoes of the caves
And the rumble of the seas
They are one with the wildfires
And they love the leaves on trees.Dark and light are nothing
Yet everything as well
But upon this world they have cursed
An irreversible spell.
