"Jia, you did great." Joon rested his hand on my shoulder and gave me a reassuring smile. The two of us had finally arrived back at the boys' dorms from an important meeting at Big Hit, but he'd noticed my hesitation before opening the front door. Everyone else was inside waiting for us, waiting to hear the verdict, and I was anxious. But with Joon's tender smile and encouragement, I took a deep breath and let my worries go.

As soon as I opened the door, I saw that Tae, Hobi and Jin were sprawled out across the couch with video game controllers in hand. "Jia! You're back. How did it go?!" Hobi sprang up, the controller flinging back onto the couch as he rushed up to hug me. All the pent up tension that had been building the entire afternoon suddenly washed away as his arms wrapped around me.

"I got the job," I snuggled my face into his shoulder, and for the first time today I felt myself smile. Hobi pulled away, beamed at me and then went straight back to hugging me, so I giggled.

"That's amazing! But technically, it was already your job to begin with," Jin snorted. By this point they'd paused the game and he and Tae were both beckoning me to come and join them.

"She still had to convince P.D Nim for her old position back though," Tae had gotten impatient and came over to drag me out of Hobi's hold. Well, he tried to, but Hobi jokingly slapped his hand the first time he tried, which he dejectedly mumbled 'ouch' to. Eventually though, Tae pulled me over to sit with them, with Hobi still clinging to me as well.

"The negotiations were a little rough," Joon admitted before taking a seat beside Jin, "but they have reinstated her as part of the writing team."

"I'm so relieved," I sighed, trying to ignore the slight pull between Tae and Hobi as they bickered over whose lap I should sit on. Eventually Hobi gave up and let Tae pull me between his legs and the two of them resumed the game they were playing.

"Jia," Jin gave me a nudge, so I looked at him and Joon. "Did you cut back your hours at Carousel like we spoke about?"

I was just about to answer when Jimin popped out of the kitchen. "Hey baby, you're back." I blew him a kiss, which he giggled at.

"Jiminie, how long until dinner's ready?" Tae asked, glancing at him from the TV screen while also trying not to let Hobi overtake him on Mario Kart.

"Soon, me and Yoongi Hyung are almost done." Jimin answered before leaving again. I turned back to Joon and Jin, who were still patiently waiting for my response.

"Yeah, so I cut back on the hours. From next week, I'll only be working there two nights a week."

"Alright, good." Joon gave a purse-lipped smile before relaxing back on the couch. Tae sulked a little as he handed the controller to Jin, seeing as he'd lost the race against Hobi, so I lent back into Tae's chest and he wrapped his arms around me. I felt the weight of his head rest on my shoulder as we watched the next round begin. Jin started throwing taunts at Hobi, but he didn't seem to let it throw him off his game in the slightest.

I let myself relax in Tae's arms as they fussed over the game, but it drowned out as my thoughts flooded over. I knew why Namjoonie and Jin wanted me to avoid working at Carousel as much as I could. They wanted me as far away from danger as possible. I felt the same way. After everything that I'd been through, I didn't want to be there at all. But it wasn't that simple.

Only two weeks had passed, yet so much had changed within me. It was like being awoken from a dream by having an ice cold bucket of water dumped over my head. That's how it felt. But I wasn't the only one that'd been thrown off balance by my recovery. I could tell the boys were having a hard time adjusting to me now that all my memories had come back to me. They'd been so used to trying to shield me from my own traumas, and stupidly, I'd put them in the position where they'd had to do it.
