*CHAPTER 4*

I squinted my eyes as I awoke blinded by sunlight. I sat there for a while basking in the warm sunlight. Who knows what I might lose when I become a werewolf like the others, so I try to take in the simple pleasures in life.

I yawned when someone gently knocked at the door and pushed it open just a crack. I tilted my head so that I could see who it was and was met with Lydia's onyx eyes. Her eyes widened for a second then she put her hand up and through the crack motioning for me to come out.What is she so startled about then I remembered last night. I looked over and didn't see Derek. I sighed with relief as I quietly started to get out of my bed and winced as I felt a cramp in the side of my chest.I was about to slide of the bed when Lydia let out a tiny squeek and I looked up at seeing Lydia shaking her head frantically and pointing to the floor. I looked down at the floor and noticed that Derek was on the floor right where I had been planning to place my foot.I carefully placed my foot a couple of inches from his face on the floor and repeated the same with my other.Derek wasn't always the best morning person which was the reason for our extreme caution. I lifted my foot to step forward but immeadiatly stopped when the floor creaked. I covered my mouth to suppress a gasp as Derek stirred silently and wrapped his arms around my ankles.Lydia peaked through a slit in her fingers as I slowly looked down and saw Derek still sound asleep snuggle closer to my constricted ankles.Getting an idea I held my finger up to Lydia and started to slowly bend down. I skimmed my finger tips just barley touching his forearm. His grasp shifted and slackened at the slight ticklish trail that I had left on his forearm.I slowly pulled both my feet out of the loop of his arms and walked over to a relieved looking Lydia. she silently opened the door some more to let me out then turned the handle and shut it again. I followed her down stairs into the kitchen and sat at the center island.She quietly took out a pad of paper and a pen from a drawer and put her finger to her lips. I nodded my head and waited patiently as she wrote on it and passed them to me.I need to talk to you about something before everyone else wakes up. I put your shoes by the door. Put them on and lets go to Starbucks so that we won't be disturbed.I quickly read her perfect handwriting nodding my head at the door telling her to get into the car and wait for me. She walked out and I moved to grab my shoes from by the door but stopped when I didn't see them. Maby I read it wrong I thought walking back over to the note pad.My phone buzzed in my pocket and I quickly pulled it out to muffle the sound. when it stopped I placed it back into my pocket and started to look for my shoes again."Where are you two going at this early hour?", I jumped at the whisper. Erica was standing in the door way with a I know what your doing face on. My shoes were dangling by their laces around her long red nails. I sighed and tried to snatch them from her but she moved them out of my reached. She was never going to give up was she I thought. I looked at her with puppy dog eyes then finding that they didn't work I started to walk out the door beckoning her to follow.I led her to my Jeep giving Lydia an apologetic look. I whispered to Erica to get in the back as she handed me my shoes. I ook out my keys and started the car. As soon as the engines soft rumble started Erica and Lydia started talking non-stop. I drove around the house and onto the road exiting the neighborhood."Ok so honestly though what are you two doing? Because I woke up to find Derek not in his room but on the floor in Stiles room with no shirt on may I add, and then furthermore you two were trying to get out of the house undetected.", she said with a confused look on her face."Well first of all sorry that we woke you. I had woken up and decided to have coffee with Stiles when I heard him wake up and then noticed Derek on the floor. So I decided to also ask Stiles the same question once we were away from the house.", now their attention turned to me. I coughed nervously before answering,"Uhhh well you see the thing is is that first of all I was tired last night. And second thing is that in my handbook when the alpha of my packs asks me to do something I generaly tend to do what he says." Hey Lysia I bet you 30 bucks him and the big bad wolf got freaky last night.",
