Chapter Seventy Two w/ note :

Sick of you playing on the Xbox thing
You’re never gonna get me with the diamond ring
Look at you so confused
No you don’t have a clue
I bet you think you got me good

I hummed to the song that was currently playing on my iPod. I had watched the boys leave in a black van ten minutes ago to go pick up the radio contest winners. Kyla, Charlie, and Vivian had gone with them and I stayed here at the hotel. I was sitting with purple nail polish sitting in its glass jar on the TV tray table beside me. I tried to gracefully paint my toe nails, but it didn't seem to work with the length of my legs. But it's worth a try when you're bored and have nothing else to do, right?

So tell me when’s the last time you changed that shirt?
Instead of sitting here you should be going to work
Like I do for you, your down and it’s not cool
Time for me to move on
Nothing I could do so

Leave, you are not the boy you said you’d be
And it’s so hard for me to breathe
How can I love you boy if you’re going nowhere
We’re going nowhere

I'm no artist, but so far I think I was doing a good job with this purple paint. I never paint my nails because I never have time, but since I do now, I decided to. It's an advantage when your best friend includes nail polish in their makeup bag and you know exactly where she puts it.

Bye, don’t have the strength to see you cry
I’m tired of asking myself why
How can I love you boy if you’re going nowhere
We’re going nowhere

How am I supposed to look at you like that?
When all you ever really do is hold me back
No more for sure
It’s you who’s out the door
I think I should press delete and clear my his-

I paused the music and closed up the nail polish. I carefully got off of the bed and walked over to the door where I heard a knocking sound come from. I opened the door to see Lou Teasdale standing there. I looked down to see Lux beside her, holding some sort of stuffed animal in her arms.

"Hello?" I greeted, a little confused to why Lou was here.

"Hi, Aria," Lou smiled, "I thought we could talk."

"Talk?" I asked with confusion still written on my face. Lou did a quiet chuckle.

"Out in the hall earlier, I told you I was always free to chat," Lou explained, "And since everyone all vanished, I thought we could do some girl talk."

Oh, okay. Now that makes perfect sense.

"Oh, yeah, sure," I opened the door wider so she could come in with her daughter, "Come in."

My room wasn't a mess, so there was no need for getting embaressed or nervous of Lou being in here. It wasn't like Megan's hotel room back in London when I visited my aunt for a few weeks. The only thing in here that wasn't normal was the disgusting smell of nail polish and nail polish remover. I had originally painted my a light pink, but thought it was hideous from my painting job, so I decided to just do another color.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked taking a seat back on my bed. Lou looked up at me after giving Lux her iPad, and I motioned for her to sit down next to me. She accepted.

"Anything. I have ears, and I'm going to lend them to you," she smiled again. I smiled back this time; making sure it was a real smile.

"Um, well, I took a reused idea back into consideration," I replied starting the new conversation. Lou nodded, keeping an eye on Lux, who made herself at home on the floor, "Starting over with Harry. For what seems like the hundreth time in a year, but I guess another try wouldn't hurt."
